My experiences with this do not involve taking a girl out of the bar exactly. I never required them to stop working at a bar but in each of three cases the girl expressed fatigue and disinterest in working in a bar anymore. I gave her a very generous 5,000 for that second week and said bye. I have seen her off and on at a bar here or there since then, too, but never took her again. I am certain she thinks I cheated her out of some pay for that second week and still owe her 5,000 baht.

3rd girl was a bargirl I met in a small beer bar about a year prior to the Covid closures. 19 when I met her and began to session with her every week, sometimes she came over after the bar closed (early, about 12 midnight) at major discount LT rates considering her age and looks, imo. But the "can you send me" stuff continued until if hit about 1,500 baht total and then I stopped it. Only Pay After from here on, sweetheart, love you. She was supposed to come for 3 nights in a row again two Sundays ago, but couldn't. Then the following Monday, but couldn't. Then the following Tuesday, etc etc etc. Maybe she'll show up again someday. Don't know. Don't really care. As long as it is Pay After, no big deal.

I have tried it in BKK. It's not a good city to use it. You can simply check the daily new profiles to compare to the location you already know to get a feel. Depending on location, seeking may not be what you think it is. In many parts of the world, it has a lot of scammers and prostitutes.

I'd agree with you that there tend to be a lot of scammers and ladies with unrealistic expectations. I was hoping to get some kind of idea from a punter that has used it as to what pricing they may have used with some success. I usually start early making contacts and have found the ones that tell you to get in touch when you arrive are "pros", plus I never meet without a video call first. That tends to week out the "photoshopped to extinction" crowd a bit as well.
