Said it before and will say it again there is absolutely ZERO need to tip any gogo mamasan. What is she going to do? Bring a girl for you next time? No. You could get laid, but Phuket is not good compared to Bangkok or Pattaya. Selection is smaller, prices are relatively high.

In Phuket, prices are also outrageously high for some non-mongering goods (like transportation, 5-10 x more than in Bangkok), and the locals are not too friendly, only there to squeeze money form tourists.

If you just want a nice beach, I'd go to places other than Phuket too.

You did not say how much time you want to spend with the girl. Even a week non stop (24 hours per day) was possible at least years ago, like taking girl on a holiday. They just rationalise it to themselves by deciding what they think they should pay, if any. It's not like the girl can call the police, to ask for payment. Plenty of guys exist that do regularly rip off the girls.

Obviously this is part of the reason why many MPs have changed to up front all in payment.

Som's new location is around the bend from her original Sukhumvit Soi 14 location as you turn right from Sukhumvit onto Ratchadaphisek. Ratchadaphisek is what Asok becomes when it crosses Sukhumvit. So Som's new bar/shop would be essentally across the street from the Exchange Tower in that intersection, just past Sukhumvit, down a small driveway next to the little Asok Bar on Ratchadaphisek.

The new name of her bar/shop is Duangporn Massage or something like that. You will see some ladies sitting outside her shop on that small driveway. Atmosphere? Its really foul in there, and the sound system is fairly rank. DJ was intolerable when I went there. This place really is a "shocker". Not sure there is anywhere I would rate as worse in Bangkok.

BTW, the first Twisters you went into on the ground level is the new Twisters Bangkok Go-Go Bar recently acquired by the owners of the one on the third level. The one on the third level is the original Twisters. The one on the ground level used to be Bangkok Bunnies before the Twisters folks took it over. And, frankly, from the sounds of it, if that many of their girls are insisting on being paid UPFRONT in order to avoid being denied payment after the deed, it does not speak well of whatever quality control or management supervision they are getting from the Twisters folks, IF any.

Also, the 700 baht barfine vs the 1000 baht one vs the 1500 baht one and so on might actually be due to the time of night, night of the week or a two or three tier barfine system for different girls. And some bars charge more for the barfine than other bars anyway. I for one have not had a problem understanding and accepting a higher barfine for some girls vs others AS LONG AS it is made clear to me by the higher priced barfine girl that she will indeed deliver something EXTRA for that EXTRA barfine rate. Otherwise, she has no right to be considered "Special" deserving a "Special" barfine rate. That is where BBFS or BBBJ+CIM+Swallow comes into the negotiations and stays there or I walk. 2500-3000 is common for ST. Those asking 3000 can sometimes be negotiated down to 2500. The opportunity to preview is an advantage, I've more often been disappointed by Thermae girls than bar girls.

No need to tip on top of the ST fee for either gogo girls or thermae freelancers.

I guess I've had the opposite experience-- thus far, my Thermae experiences have been far better, with better bodies and faces in the light, and more GFE than go-go girls (save one go-go girl, my most recent was 100% GFE). Plus less expensive (2500 vs 2500/3000 + barfine).

I will never understand these prices. Guys already overpay in the GoGos with ST of 3 k plus ridiculous barfines on top. Now people start to pay the same ridiculous amounts (and actually more) on dating sites?

I pay 1.5-2 k max. For girls from thaifriendly, or nothing at all. I am talking 18-24 yo here and BBFS. The most they ask for is 3 k which I refuse. The last I had was a dancer from Crazy House. 1. 7 k ST BBFS, but a bad performance. Don't want to think about had I paid the ridiculous gogo rate for such a low-performer.

I agree the barfines are ridiculous. I remember a few years ago barfines were in the 500-600 range (if memory serves). Now I'm being told 1000 (Twisters). At Billboard I was charged 700. Don't know if barfines are standard or it depends on time / person / guest. I was at the go-gos at roughly the same times though, only difference was venue.

And looks like I've really been overpaying. While I don't do BBFS, I have not been able to get to 1. 5-2 K at all, Thermae girls have all standardized, and I think unless it's nearing closing time or maybe very early, 2 K is not possible. Nobody would budge from it. I suggested 1. 5 K to a previous girl I met as a sideline girl who is now at Thermae every night, after she pestered me to take her (messages, calls). She stopped messaging me. Then again, she is a pro, not part-timer or civ.

I have had a few civs in BKK as well as some other places, but it always ends up costing the same or more if you count the dating aspect.

On the other hand, perhaps being a little more generous (2500 vs 2000) is what leads to a better experience if the girl doesn't feel like she is being taken advantage of. For example, your Crazy Horse dancer for 1. 7 K. You said it was a terrible performance. I wonder if it would have been totally different for 800 more? For the time invested in even having that experience, maybe a marginal 800 baht is worth it.

Thanks for that info. I have been past there three times since seeing your post and have not found any of my previous favorites. Som's had some diamonds in the rough. There was one that wore glasses and was super petite who could swallow all of the way down. She was really pretty as well. There was another who was sort of college looking who drooled gobs which was quite sexy. She got off watching herself in the mirror which turned me on. I will try some of the new talent today and get back to all of you.

I have only walked directly past the Som's girls at the new location a couple of times now and have not seen anyone I would choose, either. Same with Kasalong Bar and L0litas Bar, day shift or night shift, over the past 2-3 months. None of the four or five better than average lookers have been seen outside those bars in at least that amount of time. Maybe those who are left are fantastic providers. But I can't get past the below average looks to be inspired to find out.
