Posts: 3340So, in preparation for my trip to Ban Chang, I sent the bargirl money so she can pay her barfine (1,000 baht) and meet me in Ban Chang.
I checked in to the hotel. And then she messaged me that she's sick, and can't make it.
Most likely, she took a free day from work, and her husband wanted her to stay home.
The true test is whether she sends me back the 1000 baht. If not, she lost a customer.
Anyway, I will hit the Ban Chang bars soon.

Posts: 3340This is probably the best time to hit the Pattaya bars (ignoring the heat), because there aren't many customers, but most ladies haven't gone home yet. The bars that were staffed up for High Season are filled with bored ladies now.
The only downside is that the top tier ladies are still booked up, either with customers still around, or they are sponsored up by lonely guys who went home months ago.
Sometimes I get messages from top tier ladies who don't have a customer, and so they have to undergo the inconvenience of finding one.

Posts: 3340I am meeting one lady from Sattahip at my hotel in Ban Chang. We will drink and fuck in the room, and then hit the bars afterwards, she is looking for a bar job.
She was talking about having some friends drive to Ban Chang to go to the bars, but the logistics probably won't work out.

Posts: 3340Today I make a detour to Ban Chang for a one night stay.
Before Covid, Ban Chang had a thriving bar scene, but the post-Covid scene was very quiet. I'll take another look today.
One note: getting to Ban Chang from Pattaya is much easier with the new freeway and Bolt taxi. And cheaper, too.

It's the usual Low Season vs High Season situation.

Transportation
The Baht Bus is great if your destination is on or within walking distance of the route.
If all you are doing is hanging out in the tourist district of central Pattaya, there is no reason to worry about space on the Baht Bus. If fact, there is never a reason to worry about space on the Baht Bus. If it is full you just wait for the next one. But head into greater Pattaya during high season and you will experience what I have described in previous posts about the having Baht Busses pass you because they are packed with people.
Bolt is great. Door to door service. Comfortable. Of course if you cannot afford to use it stick with the Baht Bus. I have never paid more than 200 THB for a ride to my destination via Bolt. During my time in Pattaya, the cost difference between the Baht Bus and Bolt has never been a concern or worry of mine. When I am loaded down with packages (because of a shopping spree where I am getting respect for my cards like in the movie Pretty Woman) after shopping with my Thai girl, it makes sense not to pile onto the Bath Bus. Someone mentioned it is hot in Pattaya now. They were right.
Does the Bhat Bus have air conditioning?

Posts: 1Place like Phrom Phong Bangkok but in Pattaya
Hello.
Is there a place like Phrom Phong Bangkok but in Pattaya.
I mean not really a massage shop, most likely a small soapy parlor.
A place where there are like 10 girls. You chose one and the price and you go upstair in a room do your things.

I taxied it to Maggie Mays yesterday, and was surprised to see yet another cousin of Honey / Cindy / Plai working there (the ladies from Laos). Looking around Soi Pothole, it wasn't quiet, still plenty of customers.

Waiting for BOLT taxi: 5 minutes. No more having Baht Bus pass me because they are packed. I am having to wait for the Baht Bus to leave at start of route points.
Foot traffic on Beach Road is much lower. The amount of customers in my favorite restaurants are lower. High season is over in my Pattaya.
Today is April 22,2024.
In order to provide better intelligence about prices for those who seek it: The baht bas costs 10 THB.

Posts: 360So hotel occupancy was down in Pattaya during Songkran.
Rich Kings and Queens didn't show up like they thought.
Lots of Rice Farmers did show up though. Was it any Surprise.
I saw on Livestream lots of Ugly Portly Thai Woman's having the time of their lives. So there's that.
