I am not commenting on the rest of the countries, but my general impression it takes at least one generation to improve their skills in any field.

Most of the Filipinos who work for me speak ok but their grammar is very poor. Contrast this to educated Lao, Thai and Vietnamese who speak poorly, but whose grammar is very strong.

Back to my typical night out in the neighborhood: if by 11 pm I have not found Miss Right in the several Patpong bars I like to frequent, King's Castle 1 & 2, Badabing, and Electric Blue; then it is time to head to Spasso. At 11 pm on a Thursday, Friday, or Saturday night Spasso is usually going strong with plenty of FL's and unfortunately an almost equal number of sausages. Yes, it is a sausage fest. I don't know where these guys come from, but they are always there. Additionally, it is roughly a 50/50 split between NE Asians and Westerner sausages and some of these guys are wearing fucking sportscoats. Unbelievable! Me, I am dressed up wearing a collared, short sleeve, polo shirt ie an informal golf shirt and fresh laundered jeans. That is me in dress up mode. LOL. In any case, despite the male customer turnout, there are plenty of girls to choose from and they ALL want to make your acquaintance. There is none of that Thermae bull crap going on here although these FL's are older than the Thermae crowd, but better dressed, better educated, and many holding their own nicely. I usually flirt with a couple of the prettier girls and if I like one I let the conversation eventually get around to what everybody came for. My night is usually all set after spending an hour in Spasso.

I genuinely laughed at the comment about sportscoat LOL. I didn't think people got so dressed up. I was planning on only bringing polo type shirts or t-shirts. I still think they look nice enough / not cheap. Didn't think I would need to go any further than that to blend in.

70,000 THB is outstanding money for Thailand. I am currently paying people to work in my field 300 THB a day (lunch and water supplied). Bending over planting rice in the heat and humidity and working the land for 8-9 Hours a Day,6 days a week. 7,200 THB a month, however this work is not ongoing. They are very happy for the work and the amount they get. Mongers on here banging on about how Thailand is a robust economy and you need 120,000 THB a month to live comfortably? Quite frankly Sirs you have your heads up your asses.

I agree, the number of people earning 70 k a month or more you could probably count on an elephants trunk, especially outside of BKK.

Is there somebody here who can help? May be somebody would be knowing the language. I would appreciate to any help!

If you have any Isaan or Lao contacts on any of your video chat services, they could help. You could also use google translate to request the sender, if literate, to write the content down, then you plug into translation app.

I agree with you, after having worked in both Hanoi and HCM City in support of the VN education sector for 6 months during 2014.

One of the Deputy-Directors in the Ministry told me their long-term goal was to be better in English proficiency than the Philippines by 2020, and so far English competencies are being phased-in across primary and secondary schools.

I expect VN's performance will be even better in the PISA results that will be gathered in 2018. I was dumb-founded by the standard and quality of the system when I worked there, and they were so receptive to new and innovative ideas too. Their problem is to get more people into formal education. So far, participation levels are relatively poor.

Dude, I've lived in VN for 16 of the past 20 months. That is insane you say "12th best primary and secondary ed on the planet". Did you get that from Fox News or a Drump mouthpiece? Education sucks there. It's not even in top 50 (how would it be better than so many western european countries for example? Sorry dude, I don't think the rate has much to do with the cost of living here. It is all the punter. It's two week millionaires on holiday and the masses of Asian tourists. Without the later especially, ST would still be 1500 Baht. Remember, oilies and soapies are pretty much the same cost as they were 15 years ago. Also we are not fishing in the same pond as very demanding locals as we do in places like HK and Jakarta. If the mamasans in places like KPressure in Kowloon were to offer up a dark skinned gal with the map of the Northern Territories on her gut who did not perform; the locals would scream at her. The local and foreign punter here is not that demanding. When the mainlanders do invade the scene here the gals are really in for a surprise. The agency crap has also been awful for the punter. Salaries here are still very low as is the cost of living compared to most other Asian capital cities. Compare what you pay for an average Isan gal to what you get in Beijing. I've never been to mainland China and hope I never do. I live in Saigon and am from E Coast usa. So, what is "Kitty Beijing". In Saigon you can bone a stunner girl same as you describe for just $75. But she's VN which is far more nice than mainland China where all is just money. However, these perfect girls are escorts who don't speak English.
