This is more to the oldies in the group, of which I am one. Spent many years in Asia and bounced around China / Vietnam / Philippines and lots of time in Indonesia especially Jakarta. Have spent my fair share of time in Bangkok & Phuket but never been to Pattaya. Have a flight into Bangkok in a couple of weeks, and will supposedly have my porn star freebie from Indonesia coming with me who is in to all sorts of kink, including proper 3 somes. However some bad timing means her husband (don't even ask) may be visiting her in Indonesia the same week, so I may be arriving in Bangkok with full balls and a need for a back-up plan.

Main question is. Is Pattaya actually worth the visit for a couple of days? Looking on the Pattaya thread it seems a bit so-so. Looking online. Instagram, Facebook etc. , there's nothing that really gets my juices going from Pattaya, the clubs / bars in Bangkok have far better looking ladies and way more options / entertainment areas. I've probably talked myself into just staying in Bangkok for 5 nights, but just asking a general question of those that may spend time in both. Pattaya, worth it or not.

P.S. - don't give a shit about beaches or site seeing, once you've seen one temple or big Buddha you've seen them all. I'll go to the gym if I get bored.

What is your budget? Pattaya is definitely worth a 2 day visit especially if you've never been, Then again with only 5 days in Bangkok I can't imagine that you couldn't keep yourself busy staying in Bangkok. Pattaya has something for everyone. If you're on a budget there are many inexpensive options. If you've got money to burn to can find top quality go-go girls.

You also didn't mention if you like go-go bars, regular bars, clubs, gentlemen's clubs or street freelancers.

My last trip to Pattaya was a couple of months ago. 5 days. I also had my GF from Bangkok with me. I should mention she is only into me and not into sharing. I did not regret having her with me the whole time in Pattaya for one minute. We cruised around the usual Red Light districts, Walking Street, LK Metro, Soi 6, Beach Road, etc a few times. I cruised down Soi 6 "alone" one Saturday night, my girlfriend's idea, just to check out the vibe that way.

Although I did see a few more lookers I could imagine wanting to fuck on Soi 6 that trip than I did in the past 12 years of Pattaya outings from my residence in Bangkok, it still wasn't enough to really get my juices going as you put it or to wish my GF hadn't been with me on the trip (for a change of scenery and chill out on a beach lounger for a few days).

And I would say Soi 6 had the most potential in terms of doables compared to everywhere else in town other than a handful of presumably wildly overpriced and way, way under delivering Pattaya "super stars" inside a few Walking Street gogo bars I looked in.

In the Pattaya Reports forum there is a lot of talk and debate on the issue of which or how many Soi 6 girls have upped their asking and getting prices from 1,000 baht to them and 300 to the Short Time room to 1,500 - 2,000/2,500 to them plus 300 or whatever for the room.

But based on my observation and experience on my last trip and looking at the various YouTube videos of the girls lining up on the soi and hanging out in the bars, if you can spot more than a tiny percent who would be worth 800 baht total including the Short Time room even if those Soi 6 "super stars" delivered the mythical (in my Pattaya experience) no hassle, no discussion DFK, BBBJ and BBFS+CIP, then your eyes are much sharper than mine.

Actually, the only times I have gotten that (for me) mythical experience in Pattaya with a notably attractive girl over the past 12 years, dozens of trips there and more dozens of encounters with P4 P girls was when I brought a girl from Bangkok with me as I did a couple of months ago. LOL.

Of course, as always, YMMV. And it is always possible in your first 2 nights in Pattaya you might stumble onto some beautiful, fresh, young rice farm girl who just arrived herself and is ready for anything, maybe never saw a 1,000 baht note in person before.

Your budget is plenty strong for Bangkok. You say you have done Brasil. Like Scandallo or Bomboa? Or elsewhere. Bangkok is great fun and generally cheap. Having a legit thai massage (no sex) for $10/ HR every day does not suck.

My main advice to you is don't try to do the 30 hours all at once. Stop overnight in London and you can be in Heidi's bed (Diva escort) within an hour of landing. To answer your questions about Nonthaburi: There is no soapy scene in Nonthaburi. And for MPs there is nothing equivalent to the MP scene as found in the lower Sukhumvit area. There are some local MPs providing services almost exclusively to Thai clientele. The ladies in these are usually a bit older and mostly speak no English at all. So if you don't want to take a taxi to Bangkok and it's local action you want, the best options are using the Fiwfans website, which does have many girls listed in the Nonthaburi / Pakkret area, or else visiting one of the many Kapoo clubs in the area.

Last time I was in Bangkok was 6 years ago. There was a street vendor near Thermae that had boxes of Sidegra for sale, helps my stamina when the condom is required. Is that guy still selling along Sukhumvit? Is Sidegra available over the counter in Bangkok pharmacies?

That guy is still there. I think he was recently awarded December 2023 Best Sales. The plaque is posted on pole next to him. He owns the franchise there near Thermae. I understand he will be eligible for retirement soon. He will be selling the profitable franchise then.

Why buy over the counter when you can bypass the middleman, save some money and support the local entrepreneur?
