My first visit to Bangkok is coming up soon. I'll be landing at BKK around 1 am on a weekday. Considering the time it'll take to get out of the airport and check into my hotel (about 3 km SSE of nana plaza), what are my best options for some quick fun? I tend to sleep a lot on planes and I'll be jetlagged anyway so I expect to be awake and kind of antsy.

Realistically.

Arrive 1 am.

Tax, deplane 1:30.

Immi 2:15.

Customs 2:30.

In Cab 3 am.

At Hotel 3:30.

Open room door 4:00.

That doesn't account for plane delays, ground delays, having a relaxing dump, mean IOs, changing money, do you need a SIM?, traffic and efficiency at your hotel which is 3 klicks from the action. So unless you are screaming out of your room at 4 am unshowered, stinky from god knows how long in a flying petri dish, you might want to just be thinking of a rest.

By looking at your user name, you are from Asia. Short flight for you. I have easily 20 plus flights incoming from the US over the years, including ones before Swampy was built and I have never, let me repeat never gotten to my hotel in less than 3 hours, and I blow through Immi / Customs easier than others because I am an a Yank. But I generally arrive at 9 pm ish since that's when good flights from the continental US arrive. So you might save a bit in traffic.

I'm visiting Bangkok for 2 weeks for last half of December.

I'm staying at Terminal 21 for the first 3 days, but I left the rest of the trip unscheduled. I was thinking of checking out Pattaya, but just as likely I would fly to a different country if I find a friend early.

I'm hoping to find a compensated travel companion who is hot / good in bed & has excellent English skills, and I don't really have any budget limitations (although obviously I'd rather not overpay).

I was planning to start w / gogo bars on Soi Cowboy but it sounds like from the reports here that maybe this isn't the best route.

Anybody have any suggestions?

For me ISG is the greatest thing since sliced bread. I have not paid as much as one penny to read reports some of which have been very helpful. I survey every post in a thread I'm interested in even stupid shit and irrelevant reports; obviously, I skim through posts that do not appeal to me going through the longest ones in just a couple seconds (it appears not everyone has that ability). I have never blocked or muted anyone, I am time conscious but not that sensitive.

I've read your report in the Kolkata forum about this magic potion can you tell me more about it mate.

Have you used it yourselves or how are you so sure about it.

There are other clubs too like Mixx, Shock39 and the one in Grace Hotel but I think you will get local chicks at Mixx mostly. Other two cater to middle eastern / uzbek / CIS / indian / paki chicks.

Day 2 was quite dry and only saviour was Doki Doki. Hung out at the usual spot of Hooter to see street action. Saw an extremely hot FL standing just at the end of hooter (not Nana Hotel side) and almost every other nationality stopped to say Hi to her. I saw Koreans twice, Farang twice (assume one was Aussie because he was big), two Indians and the US guy whom I was chatting with couple of days back at Score bar. Almost no one seemed to take her home. Just for fun sake I decided to ask her the rate. Dunked my beer at Hooters (they never have Asahi! And casually strolled by her. She looked hot but her face was very sweet. Almost like a chinese doll. Exchanged some memorised pleasantries to break the ice. Asked her lot of guys stop by but you didn't go with anyone. She said all were bargaining and she knows her price. It was only 11 pm and Halloween so perhaps she waiting for a drunk to take her home. She quoted me 2500 baht and no blowjob. I thanked her politely and on my way.

Lesson. All FLs are not cheap, almost everyone bargains, irrespective of their nationality if the price is right or at least they know what is the street price, and ask before you take home!

Someone had suggested Shark and Bacarra and it was a very helpful suggestion. Bacarra has some beautiful girls and some really bad old girls. I called over a girl for chat and asked for a drink. Quickly got her a drink and started with the usual pleasantries and questions about work, life, travel etc. I was impressed with her english language and she did mention that she studied english for non-english customers (older Korean, Japanese business men) Looked around and noticed quite a number of professionals with their expensive Tumi bags chatting and groping away unwilling bar girls. Sigh! I liked her and said lets get out. Then came the shock of my life. She said bar fine is 600 baht + ST is 3000 that's only for an hour + 2 lady drinks. Umm, okay I told her I like you but I don't love you. Both of us laughed and she gave me a kiss and walked away. Now I realise the value of 'I hate to see you leave, but I love to watch you go".

It was almost closing time so decided to check out Shark but it was also closing and the girls outside in their skimpy bikinis did not justify spending the last 15 minutes there. Now right across there is Rio (if I can recall correctly in my drunk state) and saw three-four really good hotties. I walked across and one of them holds my arm and asks cutely. Why you come so late? I have to go home now. LOL. You got to love these Thai girls who can deliver practiced lines with an unequalled eloquence. Chatted with her while I was finishing my beer from Bacarra. She said she will take me to another bar while this bar closes. Apparently sister bar. Walked over to the bar and settled on the sofa. She said I will go and change. I heard I will go, change and then leave with you. Haha.

One of my earliest bosses had quipped once, Never assume because its makes an ass of you & me. She changed into a very cute top and denim shorts and said bye. I say where are you going. Home, I have an exam tomorrow. Fuck! Now I am in the new bar where I just ordered one lady drink and one beer for me. I tell mamasan that lady already leave why should I pay for lady drink. She say choose another. There were only 3 and not a speck to the girl who escorted me. I said I am not paying for a lady drink when lady is not here. Other two girls came and sat next to me. I ignored all three and kept sipping on my beer and did not utter a word till my beer finished. I paid 200 baht for the beer and kept it on the table. Mamasan came and took away money and lady drink. Wish I could remember the name of the bar but I think its two-three bars left of Rio.

Glad you found Baccara and shark fine. Shark's girl quality has gone down or maybe because it's not holiday season. Bacarra is still my first-drink bar whenever I go to Cowboy.

Regarding the cute FL near hooters, she could be LB. I saw many tempting LBs there.

I spent couple of days at Bangkok before I fly out and the little spinner was ready to accompany me for the whole 2 days.

I assume at that hour, you will be able to reach your hotel by 2. 30 am or maybe slightly earlier. Try the following places, in my experience of 4 nights trolling at night.

1. Nana Hotel parking (but considering it will 2. 30 am it may be slim pickings).

2. Soi 11 - Insanity club closes at 3 am and people are mostly heading to Sugar which is on till 4/4. 30 am. Hence higher chances of street FL.

3. Cafe Thermae / Hyatt. I have seen lot of FLs standing on the stretch from soi 11 till Thermae with maximum concentration near S15 hotel but watch out for LBs (slim pickings though).

4. Soi Cowboy. Most bars close at 3/3. 30 am so you could probably barfine a girl or catch a girl going on way to her home.

5. Smooci. If all fails, just call someone over. Try the premium package as you can get some reviews by other premium members.

My flights usually get me in and settled around the 1/2 am time frame too (though I tend to stay more towards soi 11). The street scene usually stays active until 4/5 am, so I would recommend just taking a stroll. There should still be plenty of choices around Nana. You can also head up Sukhumvit (towards soi 11). Left side of the road is where most FL would be.

Experience reports may well have declined. Guys name girls less. A problem is girls reading the reports or even being shown them by ISGers. Guys are scared of Psycho cases on the forum too.

However the very worst negativity trolls "the shit dumpers" have also declined. This forum was pretty ugly in former times, like 10 years ago, maybe even 5 years ago.
