Hey guys,

Coming up to BKK in about a month for about 5 nights with 2 other friends. Thanks to this forum, I pretty much have my nighttime itinerary planned out (Nana, Thermae, Soi).

I just had a quick question. I know a lot of the go-go bars are set up like a typical bar with loud music and pushy bartenders / girls, but is there something more fancy and upscale and less pushy, something a little more upscale? I've heard some of the massage parlors Huai Khwang are like this, but wanted to make sure.

My friends and are looking for something more relaxing and quiet compared to a go-go bar. We'd like to relax drink a few rounds with each other before taking in any activities with the girls.

I would suggest Spasso, it's located in the basement of Grand Hyatt, not far from Nana. They have a nice live band playing, small dance floor and decently looking, nice dressed girls. The atmosphere is fine. For men no shorts and flip flops allowed. Not cheap, a beer is approx 300 bath by glass. Girls not cheap, most 10.000 bath LT. But as said, decent looking and different nationalities.

I checked all the addresses of Holiday Inn in Bangkok but did not see any address that listed Soi 31.

What was the "name" of the Holiday Inn?

No, Nana plaza wasn't 'hit'. They just held the press conference there. The people arrested were just arrested elsewhere in town.

Visiting Bkk and Pattaya soon and needed some mongering info for day / night mongering and any other joints better than the ones I have mentioned below.

- Grace hotel. For Thai freelancers, Uzbek / Russian freelancers, never been to the dance club in Grace Hotel though. Is it worth it?

- Sukhumvit Mcdonalds soi strip for Africans (most of them are bait and switch) and further down the street Thai freelancers too.

- NaNa Plaza. All floors mostly for Ladyboys.

- Near Hotel Rajah. Seen an Indian Dance bar kind of a joint there (never been and don't know if we can pick up there).

- Novotel Dance Club. For Russian freelancers, Thai freelancers (never been).

Any info about Pattaya also would be very helpful.

Hi this my first report on this forum.

Arrive Bangkok 2.15 pm alone.

Check in my hotel and have a rest.

My hotel is Holiday inn on soi 31.

Is a good hotel and nice lunch and dinner buffet.

I was travel to Bangkok 2 or 3 time a year.

Each time will be around 1 week.

So most place in Bangkok I have visit already.

Afternoon will visit terminal 21 or some cafe.

My aim will be only wechat, BJ bar, Nana and Soi Cowboy.

Afternoon will stay at bed wechat find some FL.

A buddy and I sat across from where the girls check into security when entering Nana Plaza from about 7:30 PM to 9 PM last night, Saturday. We saw quite a few new faces and butts, many good-looking girls, entering the place and heading to their various go-go bars. I don't know where those lookers went but it apparently wasn't either AngelWitch or Spanky's. We stopped in those bars for a while and neither one had line-ups that I would consider above average. The girl with the best body in either bar, imo, #46 in AngelWitch, spotted me as I walked in, remembered me from a Lady Drink sit several days ago (Post #41917) and came over to say Hi and lobby for another sit. I obliged and, despite rubbing her lovely legs and butt, holding hands, her hand drifting to rest on my crotch and even a mild peck or two on the lips every now and then, I still could not work up any sense of chemistry with this girl. The physical contact did not inspire so much as a chubby for me as I sat with her.

I have learned over the years to pay attention to that lack of chubby-ness in my pecker, heed the warning and move on to another girl. Good looks and a great body isn't the magic combination for me it might have been in the past. There has to be something better happening, almost indefinable, when the girl sits next to me for me to choose her these days.

I noticed again that roughly half the girls in AngelWitch were not wearing number badges. I asked my girl why some of the other girls were not wearing badges. She didn't know. Used to be girls not wearing numbered badges meant they were non-barfineable Coyotes. Then the bars realized many of us figured out this not so difficult to figure out tip off. So some of the bars went to putting numbered badges on all the girls. Then they moved to having non-barfineable Coyotes wearing pantyhose and double bra protection against being touched on their skin by icky customers they've scammed into buying LDs for them with no realistic chance of having sex with them now or ever. Speaking of numbered badges, there was still not a #32 badge on any AngelWitch girl last night from about 9:15 PM until 10 PM.

Moved on to Spanky's go-go bar. Again, the line up was no better than average and mostly less than average while we were there from 10 PM to 11:15 PM. Now, in this bar I don't think I saw one girl wearing a numbered badge. Maybe there is some new system of identification and barfine tracking being tried out lately, other than their chosen name that is. Which isn't helpful if half the girls are named Nam, Noi, Nong and Kai.

I decided to reply to the Line messages I'd been getting from a cute 21 year old dating site FL I'd been with twice before over the past month or so to please see her before she goes to her Province this morning to spend time with her parents. Don't know if she would pass muster with some of the Standards of Beauty Police here, but I can say without doubt she turns heads of farangs and Thai men when we walk around together. I mean, she's young, healthy, fit, nice shape, good skin, candy-apple butt and has a lovely sweet face.
