Please find my take aways from the trip:

1. Soi Cowboy up and running almost 80% on numbers.

2. Soi 11 bars are really where the action is: from "Hollywood Academy Awards" Name Bar on one end to the H way Bar. ,very decent upscale pick up scene.

3. Club Mixx is now open.

Overall I would say its 70-80% action is back, however soapies are still dry.

Phuket has much better scene for sure.

Sugar club on Soi 11 is also open and the queue to get in last night was huge, men and women. Also Havana Social further down and around the corner.

IMHO, punters who cancelled plans to travel to Bangkok because they read here it is "dead", that too few go-go bars are open, that they are not operating fully as go-go bars, that the customers far outnumber the girls and that very few of the available girls would be worth fucking bb anyway even at discount prices have been misled.

Can't speak about the soapie scene since that is not my thing.

I am sure you are finding some very attractive girls on these Thai language sites. But you said it yourself, it takes "a lot of time-consuming research" to find the real performers.

Pre-covid, I never used internet sites to find girls preferring to meet them in brick-and-mortar establishments and test drive them before making any decisions. I am currently on my 5th week in SP on my 3rd visit. My 2 favorite internet girls are on working road trips in Spain, so I missed seeing them. But once again I have not pursued any new online girls because it so much more fun to meet super attractive girls in the bordellos face to face than on an internet site. It just is!

Now Thailand is different. I understand this. So, I will have to see how things are when I finally return. I still don't know when that will be. But I am still hoping that by October or early 2023 at the latest, the Go Go's and nightclubs will be back open in large numbers and things will look like 2019. Hopefully.

But for example, Billboard, one of my favorite bars in Nana back in 2019, on a good night I could count on there being maybe 3 or 4 girls on the carousel that were barfine worthy, and that is not a very high ratio of lookers for sure back in 2019, but it was enough to satisfy me and make me a repeat customer. By comparison, I thought Pin Up A Go Go in Pattaya circa 2019 had a hell of a lot more attractive girls on hand and the bar vibe was outstanding. In 2019 I thought Pattaya Go Go'a were better than BKK Go Go's. Last comparison: on a typical Thursday night in Scandallo 2022 (Sao Paulo) there are around 140 girls hanging around of which at least 25 are 7* and above IE super sexy. That is why I don't bother searching for girls on the internet when I am in SP.
