    Dance Clubs

One of the things I love about Scandallo is you can really test drive the vibe. I enjoy dancing with girls and then going to the room later. And I've been doing a lot of seeking arrangement lately where we go for dinner and dancing (not old man dancing — you know, club dancing) before hitting the room.

What are the Best Bangkok dance clubs where you can both dance and do take out?

Far from being a shithole, at least when it comes to girls, if I could go only one place in the world this year it would be São Paulo Brazil and go to Scandallo. More 7-9's per square meter than any other venue on the planet. Luxe club. Luxe girls. Maximum selection. Cannot be beat. Worldwide favorite and I've been pretty much everywhere.

    Part time.

Not sure why these questions interests you. Some of the assumptions are wrong. I am a monger gradually winding down to possible retirement from that hobby, eventually. You should be asking questions about girls and Thailand, and of the forum in general, so anyone interested in the question can answer.

I think one thing is clear. I am into regular girls rather than notches on the bedpost for each new girl fucked. I like good looking naked girls and fun sex.

Finally its not wise to post a lot of personal details on here lest it become obvious who a forum member is. I am sure there were already too many personal things. This forum is mainly about finding girls for sex. Yes we do go into stuff about adjusting to the Thailand and Bangkok situation as a side issue for mongers.

I agree with you, Lefu. Brazil and Colombia have amazing girls, great food and are definitely not shitholes. 555. But they are not as easy going or as safe LOS. In Brazil and Colombia you always have to be aware of your surroundings and take proper care. In Thailand it just doesn't matter. I am comparing BKK to Rio, Sao, Medellin and Bogota. I would say it also feels safer in Manila than those 4 SA cities. But that's just my impression. I would not be surprised either way by the stats. Anyway, I used to hang out in SA a lot in the 80's & 90's. Like I said, they have some amazing girls. But eventually I got fed up with the macho culture and for the last 15 years I have been visiting SE Asia exclusively. What can I say? I like it better here. Still, if a BM has never been to Colombia or Brazil, he should go there and find out for himself what's going on. It's pretty good.

    Detail about Thai addressing

Yes Sukhumvit is the default road for ISG forum, between Ploenchit skytrain BTS station and Ekkamai BTS Station, districts Wattana and Klong Toei on each side of the road. However Sukhumvit road is very very long and goes all the way to Pattaya, Rayong, Traat and beyond.

"soi" is a Thai word meaning lane, alley, sidestreet. If Singapore it would be called Lorong I believe.

Odd numbered Sois of Sukhumvit are on the North side (slightly East of North), and even numbered on the other side. There is no alignment as another poster pointed out. Soi 66 is approximately opposite Soi 101. This caused by very uneven distances between Sois. Sois have branches sometimes with sub-soi numbers but often not.

Soi 31 has several turns and branches to make it confusing.

Many Sois have a Thai name as well as a number e. G. Soi Sawatdi. Some Sois are so major that they have become a "road". Sukhumvit Soi 71 is also called "Pridi Phanomyong" road and it has sub-sois e. G. Pridi Soi 10. Pridi 10 yeak 8 is 8th intersection of Pridi soi 10.

A small soi in between Soi 7 and Soi 9 cannot be Soi 8 because it is on opposite side, and so becomes Soi 7/1, read by Thais as "Soi 7 Thap 1" (they have no clue what is a slash). Thap sounds like Tup as in Tupperware. Two small sois between 64 and 66 would be 64/1 and 64/2.

An address like this " 65/1 55 Sukhumvit Rd, Khlong Tan Nuea, Watthana, Bangkok 10110" will mean building number 65/1, in Soi 55 of Sukhumvit road. Wattana is a major district of Bangkok (known as Kheht in Thai) and Klong Tan Neua is a sub-district (Khwaeng in Thai). Postal Code is 5 digits.

Some Thai addresses give very little clue as to the actual location so you need to search on Google Maps. Soapy Parlour Victoria Secret (closed now) was very hard to find from its address, and even google pin was quite wrong originally.

"555, Rama 9 Road, Bang Kapi, Khet Huai Khwang, Bangkok, 10310, Khwaeng Bang Kapi, Khet Huai Khwang, Krung Thep Maha Nakhon 10310" It was located in Rama 9 road Soi 13 but official address never mentioned this Soi, and at one time mentioned "Soi Sun Wichai" (seems to be name of Phetchburi Soi 47) which is somewhere else entirely, just to throw people off the scent I guess.

In days before Google Maps, finding places by address could be very tricky.

I live on a country road that has no name. Ha ha.

    RE: Sois and locations

    Steve.

No worries. I like a slightly different approach.

I like to think of the main areas by the nearest BTS train station, which runs along Sukhumvit, and is a good way to get around.

Nana Plaza is between the Phloen Chit and Nana stations.

Soi Cowboy is off the Asok station behind the Interchange 21.

Most oily massage joints are congregated off Phrom Phong station.

Other places like the BJ bars, and after hours bars, etc are scattered along the way.

If you google (maps) these BTS stations you'll get oriented. If you look at some of the online blogs (like rocketreports) that talk about the oilies, and soapies, and BJ bars, they often have maps of all the places in the smaller areas.

And if I can easily afford gogo girls at Cowboy or Nana, should I bother shopping in the Northeast sois? I do love experiences. So maybe just for that reason?

And what if Patapong. How does it play in the mix?

I kindly ask you don't RTFF me as I WTFF for the most part. And I do read Bangkok daily but it's a forest for the trees problem. I see the trees clearly but the overview is harder to come by. Thanks.

    Bangkok Forum Guys Rule

You guys rock. Nothing short of four solid responses inside of an hour. That is service with a smile. Thanks!

P.S. I know you are a Thailand crew but if you enjoy reading adventures drop me an instant message. I just finished a week in London where my Peruvian "girlfriend" dumped me at the airport (after I flew her there etc) but I filled the week with six Romanian hookers, two civi dates with a Peruvian and a Malay girl, and had a four hour blast duo with two Colombian girls.

People who say London sucks for P6 just have no fucking clue what they are doing. Happy to send you the full FR (much too long and OT for ISG).

Hi Steve. A fair question from anyone not familiar with Thailand. Might be helpful to go up one level further from other posts. "Soi" refers to parcel of land on or near a main road. For Bangkok (and other cities) the parcels were absorbed decades ago and the soi " reference is generally a side street. There are also "sub-sois" which branch off from the main lane. For example LollyTas is on a sub-soi of Sukhumvit soi 8. You will see the soi references in Pattaya, too.

For Sukhumvit, even numbers on on the south side and odd numbers are on the north. The sois are NOT lined up numerically, so (for example) soi 8 is directly across sukhumvit from soi 11.

    TTG.

Go to Hotels.com and request Bangkok, Sukhumvit neighborhood, click on the maps of any hotel. There it is, the Soi by Soi map of the district. Odd numbered Soi's on the top right and even Soi's on the bottom left. Soi Cowboy is an alley off of Soi 21, Nana Plaza is a large area off of Soi 4.

Walking between the two is good exercise and good fun can be had talking to the FL's on the walk. Walk down Soi 7/1 and check out all the ladies and LB's that want your attention. Good luck and enjoy your visit.

BTW, your a senior member, I don't think anyone would tell you to RTFF.

Steve, when guys are talking about soi 7 here in the BKK Reports section they are usually talking about Sukhumvit Soi 7 which is a short walk from Soi 4 (Sukhumvit soi 4) where Nana is located. Just keep in mind that even numbered sois are on the south side of Sukhumvit and the odd numbered sois are on the north side of Sukhumvit. Soi Cowboy runs parallel to Sukhumvit between Asok and soi 23 (Sukhumvit soi 23). Got it?

Patpong is in the Silom neighborhood. If you are staying in the Sukhumvit neighborhood, you will need to take a taxi or MRT from the Asok station or a combination of BTS trains to get there. Is it worth the trip? Yes. A couple of my favorite Go Go's are on Patpong 1 & 2. Specifically Kings Castle 1 & 2 and Pink Panther.
