There is no such thing as cheapest and best.

Phuket is expensive as compared to other two.

Pattaya you will feel like Mumbai chowpatty with so many indians.

Pattay and BKK have lot to offer spend 3 night in one place and balance in other.

For hotel in bkk you need to stay near nana BTS for indian food. There is punjabi restaurant. Or rembrandt hotel in soi 22 I guess which has indian restaurant. Don't know if its GF. You can check the forum or google.

Be aware you are now going at peak tourist season. Happy hunting.

BTW Mumbai has so much to offer.

I spend last month staying in the lower Suk area. IMO the FL numbers are about the same YOY but certainly down from years ago.

The NPL has taken the biggest hit. It started downhill when the Nana Hotel Disco closed. And when the Nana Hotel started being listed on Expedia and other travel search engines they stopped the FL ladies from congregating in the parking lot or in the driveway between the Golden Bar and the hotel entrance. Now the Golden Bar is closed and a Hooters restaurant is being installed. So the ladies are confined to the sidewalk in front of the hotel sign across from NEP. There is still some decent talent Thurs / Fri / Sat nights but the numbers are way way down. Gentrification sucks.

The SW numbers on the odd side of Suk from the Grace Hotel all the way up to T21 seemed about the same IMO. Ladies in all the usual spots and quite a few familiar faces LOL. If anything more LB's after dark but maybe my radar was on high alert. Yes for African ladies, ME ladies (some surprising slim) and Ukrainian Elena around for those interested foreign providers.

I am not a BeerGarden guy but the couple of times I cruised thru it seemed like situation normal. It is only a matter of time for the BG as that area is slated for redevelopment. Did I mention that gentrification sucks.

No, you are not getting many young chicks at BG, Soi 7 but equally there are a number of good looking FLs. I'd say there were not too many goodlooking chicks in the oilies = one in ten? I walked Soi 24 and around and found nothing that appealed.

I walk lower Suk at least once a week every week. And have for 16 yrs. The numbers today are not even close to what they were 10 years ago. Some lookers in the oilies but if they perform at all they are all getting lots of sessions, but agree, overall looks quality is down.

First and foremost you need to rethink about your budget. INR 70000 (THB 35000) all inclusive is not going to be sufficient if you are travelling on your own. Ok the tour operators charge roughly that much but that does not include the cost of mongering. Your flight tickets will cost you about INR 25000, Hotel stay and food expenses, visa, transport will be about INR 40000. That leaves you nothing for mongering.

I have read reports of Thailand and Bangkok & Pattaya on internet. I realized that in Bangkok / Pattaya Indians are many times not treated well at many places and there is a risk of theft and scams.

The best solution to this problem is to join in any Tour operated by Indian Company like Thomas Cook or Heena Travels for 5 Days /6 Nights, where they will arrange everything during daytime like Flight Tickets, Airport Transfers, sight seeing, Food (I am Vegetarian), Accommodation, etc. Though I asked but they have no special tours for Bachelors in Thailand. So these tours are for families and nightlife we are supposed to explore on our own. The problem with exploring nightlife alone is travelling via taxis and not knowing which clubs are best and safe. I found a solution that in night I can take a local guided tour for just a night with local company of "Bangkok Hangover Tour"(site: http://www.bangkokhangovertours.com/). This company charges about 2000 Baht per person but takes the tourists to best night clubs in Bangkok in their own vehicle in a single night and picks up and drops off tourists to their respective hotels. So Safe and best without cheating and worrying about travelling.

The other option is to bypass any Indian tour operator and directly Fly to Bangkok on my own, take a room in a girl friendly Hotel like Nana Hotel in Bangkok which is at walkable distance from Soi Cowboy and Nana Plaza. And then for nights I will take "Bangkok Hangover Tour" for first night and then will enjoy on my own for subsequent 3-4 nights. The advantage of going without Indian tour operator is that I will save money of a Tour but disadvantage is Airport Transfers, Sightseeing and food, I will have to manage on my own which may even turn out to be more expensive and headache for me.

Agree that the oilies are quite slow. SW seems to be the only one doing ok. Nong says biz is not too bad.

I am coming to Bangkok this winter for the second year in a row. Last year, I relied on going to discos, bars, MP's, the occasional FL near or around Nana, etc. To meet girls with varied results -- some fantastic and some dismal. In anticipation of my visit this year, which will be for about 90 days, I have been lurking on Thai Friendly in order to expand my 'dating' options and perhaps even meet someone who is not actually a WG. I was also surprised to see a lot of the girls don't have restrictions on the upper age limit, which is nice since I am in the senior category.

Also, the TF search option allows one to search for LB's and girls at the same time so I selected that option to amuse myself and test how proficient I was in identifying the photos as either girl or other. Well, I flunked. Though for me the voice is always the key.

You are lucky you did not get hurt. Just a bruise to the ego and wallet. Let this experience not get your down, relax have a drink and head to a massage / gogo where things are a bit more predictable.

That said, a word of advice for all patrons of social media. In my previous posts I have reported how I have successfully used social media. A rule that I live by. NEVER MEET THE GIRL DIRECTLY IN THE HOTEL ROOM. I always insist on meeting in a public place, like a coffee shop or hotel lobby or a McDonalds. If things are not up to my liking I can walk away with minimal loss (a drink / coffee).

And you did the right thing of not keeping all the cash in the open. Also changing rooms under confidential terms was absolutely the wise thing to do. I presume you had paid up for the stay in advance, else I may have even recommended a change in hotels. I hope you were using a temporary SIM, if so please throw that away so that you cannot be tracked.

Thailand has very little, if any, Judeo-Christian influence. Yet every middle-class Thai lady I know or have met takes a very dim view of prostitution. Hookers are looked down upon by society as a whole, and none of the "regular" girls I know want to have anything to do with one, I. E. Conversation, friendship, etc. I think if hooking were on the same moral plane as working in a factory nobody would care. Yet, reality says otherwise.

Gal pal in Bangkok just told me L0litas and Kasalong on Soi 8 were closed by police for some irregularity. Supposedly both are closed for 3 days. Competing forum seems to believe L0litas is closed for good, (some problem with the building.) Gal pal also told me BJ bars are illegal in Thailand! What?!

Just landed in Bangkok Tuesday night. Haven't had a chance to write my report yet, but thought I'll post this up.

Was talking to a girl name Aong Arisa on Wechat, she confirmed 100% lady, 100% non working girl.

Being the innocent person I am, I agreed to the terms that she comes to my hotel for some "fun".

She came, I picked up that she is a lady boy in person and complimented on how tall she was.

She noticed that I wasn't happy, she demanded I pay her 4 K baht. I kindly informed her / him that I will give them 500 baht for their efforts (credit is due for the trick).

She grabbed 2 knives from the kitchen draw and demanded I pay her.

Lucky all my BAHT was in my wallet on the table (separated from my AUD in my safe), I gave her 2. 5+ in baht and she left.

Immediately called reception, they negotiated 1.5 k baht to be returned as the manager informed me if the police involved, it gets really annoying. Being the good person I am, I gave him a $50 AUD tip for getting my 60% of my money back. It wasn't the money being the issue, it was the principle.

I have now changed rooms and under confidential. Anyone that calls me will not be able to find me.
