As I recall, he described that Thermae girl as a "stunner". I would say the chances of a better looking than most Thermae girl actually quoting 2,000 baht as an opening number in a negotiation these days is very low, perhaps only if it is her very first day in Bangkok from an outlying province and her first hour in Thermae.

3,000 baht as the opening quote for all but the older, chubbier or more plain looking girls in the place is far more likely and it's been that way for at least a year or two. Yes, many will quickly drop to 2,500 baht if the customer does nothing more than hesitate a nanosecond to accept the quote or appears to be taking a step away from the girl and the negotiation. And I believe negotiating to 2,000 baht is still possible with some of the better looking girls in Thermae if some conditions are right for it; the time of night, day of the month, customer competition, your level of game, presentability, etc.

So, as far as the "going rate" is concerned, I might not be so quick to say 3,000 baht is the new going rate in Thermae. But it is certainly a common starting point for the better looking girls there, imo and in my experience.

And yes, I have updated the pp to the most recent version. Any ideas?

For ThaiFriendly, I did the same. With my Thai phone number I created an account, uploaded a picture and liked some ladies. A bunch are ugly and not many seem to be into p4 p (stating this explicitly in their profile). But interesting contacts start to come in now, so will probably give it a shot sometime soon.
