I've never stayed there myself, but it usually gets good reviews here, and the location is great.

Or you can do a search for hotels with cooking facilities on Booking.com for example. Although I'm afraid that is quite often just a microwave.

Food is about taste for the real foodie. When MogWai meant the best food in the world, I am sure he meant it in terms of cost and taste. The Asian food that includes tastes like Sour, sweet, bitter, tangy, spicy and savoury all served in 1 plate itself, the street food.

I have seen many youtube videos about the street food today to check this statement. I was surprised by the sheer number of items available in the street food. Even the 7-Eleven stores have more items than a french or Italian restaurant, if you exclude the same type of dish but with different sauce or style in the French or Italian menu.

Also, besides everything, it is all about one's taste and liking. I am always attracted to the Asian food.

Thai Street food is cheap. Other than that. Nothing burger. Youtubers tout street food for Clicks. I bet they eat indoors the rest of the time.

No one goes to Thailand for For Food or Temples, You can enjoy whatever they offer but they are not the reason to go to Thailand. Sorry but its the Girls of the Bar, or more generally the Party atmosphere.

I prefer hotels and the main reason is security. When I check in a girl I always give a substantial tip, maybe 200 baht, that's the person I want to be thinking of me for the next couple of hours. Security also keeps the undesirables away.

BTW if you are visiting Ukraine then the best thing is AirBNB as it is super safe country. You do not get cheated. Day 0, landed late, boarding flight to BKK from ICN a pain but screening at BKK a breeze. Picked up SIM after luggage pick up and before customs. Staying at Sheraton Grande, picked up from airport straight to hospital for arrival Covid test, then straight to check in. Hotels, no doubt. Because they are safer, and because renting an apartment can be illegal.

Why do you need a kitchen? Thailand has the best food in the world, according to many people, and in places like Bangkok and Pattaya there is (cheap) food available everywhere you go.

Most hotels can take care of your laundry, but it's usually pricy. Before Covid there used to be many, many cheap laundry shops in Pattaya. And to a lesser extent in Bangkok as well. Now a lot of them are closed, so you have to search and walk a bit more to find one, but they are still there.
