Checked up on nana plaza during the week while I'm town for 1 night.

The other issue with Ruamchit Hotel is room availability. In March they were twice full when I wanted to get a ST room. Once my girl took us to about four ST hotels before we found an available room, which was Miami on Soi 13 (dingy place for 600 baht).

Don't go to the Miami now expecting to rent a short term room. It's gone upscale and is actually a 3 star hotel with nice fittings in the rooms and lobby area, plus a beautiful pool. In fact, when I stayed there last January, they were charging a joiner fee. I was never charged but I saw other guests forking over baht to the front desk.

I tend to avoid the big clubs and go to the smaller type bars and order a beer and most times the mama would send a girl to sit with you and start chatting. 2 drink later for both of us and its ST for 2,000 total. These are all refering to the same things.
