As a reminder, I am not talking about some wildly higher than normal barfine like the 3,000 baht barfine Cowboy 2 Bar on Soi Cowboy is charging. But I should also say I have never seriously negotiated with a girl like that in Cowboy 2 Bar, so I have no personal experience to share about it.

I am talking about the difference between 700-800 baht and 1,200 baht or, in some cases, a two tiered system where some girls have lower, normal barfines in the range of 700-800 baht and some have barfines perhaps as high as 1,500 baht..

I have bar fined two girls from Geisha. Yam - 21 and DFK, BBBJ, DATY and FS so don't regret it although I was still a little jet lagged. She is really sweet and nice body overall and no silicon though she wants a nose job. Did strike me as a party girl so not sure how long the body will last as there is a little fat on her stomach. I unfortunately did book via agoda a hotel in Soi Cowboy for my next trip which is tacked onto a business trip in a nearby country but after that I'll always just stay near nana in the future.

Tilac bar fine is 1.5 k BTW so had two girls in there saying better value than cowboy 2 as can get 2 girls vs just 1 but lack of stunners there also. They did actually want to be bar fined and didn't waste time saying it at least.

Even at a somewhat discounted (for a good looking girl in a go-go bar) 2,500 baht total including the barfine, I would have expected no better than an uninteresting level of service. I don't recall ever getting better than passable service in any Thai P4P option after paying upfront and more often than not it turned out to be far less than passable.

The girl and I negotiated the total fee, then she got her stuff and talked to mamasan, not sure what that conversation was, but mamasan was just like ok ok, and to pay her, so I paid her directly, and the girl and everything was fine with it. One week into the stay and nothing earthshaking to report: That will come when I hop over to the Phils in a couple of weeks and get chased by lava.

In BJ bars, more or less my favorite haunts, I got an ugly but decent service at Kasalong, but Wood Bar was a real bust. Due to their system, instead of taking first in queue, my norm at the other places, I had to sit for the lineup. I chose a girl who looked a lot like the website shots of X. X was well reviewed here a while back so I had some false hope that things would come out well. It was probably not X, as the reviewer mentioned her being petite. Tilac seems to have standardized a bit, too, unfortunately the standard seems to be pleasantly plump. I got there too late to get a desired seat against the wall and ended up at the table right beside the pool ladder they use to mount and leave the stage. I got a good look at a lot of asses going up or down. Amazing standardization.

For no apparent reason I did Crazy Cats. One girl was actually fairly cute, but most were average at best, but smaller than Tilac's.

The Dollhouse had a pretty poor line up, but it was fairly early. I saw one already BF'd girl on the way out but she was way too dressed to make a good determination. Been a little more than year since I was last in Thailand, will be making a trip in Feb, 4 days in Pattaya then 4 in BKK. Many thanks to Elmo for the report, especially on which bars to avoid as I kept to WeChat and TF last time around, but looking to visit the bars more on the upcoming trip.

Quick question, how was your room at the Pullman? I booked a standard King but contemplating upgrading.

I would go with the upgrade.

1) Layout of the upgrade is so much better than the standard king. Entrance to the bathroom in standard king is next to the room door. In upgrade, there is a second door to the bathroom off the bedroom.

2) Standard king has a small tub with a shower attachment. Upgrade has a larger tub and separate large walk in shower.

3) Chair in the standard king is really uncomfortable. Upgrade has a chaise lounge. Perfect for sipping a beer while planning the evening's activities; remembering past nights adventures, or watching tv.

One other tip on the Pullman. When you BF a gal from Soi Cowboy, pull out your key card, and show her "Pullman" as you approach Asok Rd and all of the moto-taxis. When you turn the corner, show her the building. It is shaped like the sail of a sailing boat. Even make the shape of the building with your hand. Once she sees the building, she will then understand where you two are going. That there is no need for a moto-taxi; that it is an easy walk; will put her at ease; . Etc. , etc.

It greatly simplified things leaving Soi Cowboy and makes for a nice walk back to the hotel hand in hand, rather than trying to explain matters.
