I remember an area near Khaosan road that had girls that were patronized mostly by the locals. I never tried it but wanted to. I ran out of time during my last visit.
And there is Lumpini park after dark. Is the street around the park still loaded with freelancers? I haven't been in Bangkok for 5 years but hope to be able to return later this year or spring next year.

The AMA quietly added hydroxychlorquine back to its treatment protocols in late 2020 BTW.
But I understand if that is difficult for some to believe.

This is off subject for Bangkok but since the country origin of Covid is being discussed, along with other of similar nature on these pages, let's also note that the Spanish influenza of 1918 did not originate in Spain. Instead, it is now generally thought that the influenza came from the state of Kansas in the US and probably was due to contacts with birds who had established migratory patterns through this area of the US Midwest. Fort Riley, which was a military base there, was probably where the disease really began to spread, and the troops stationed from this location were sent to Europe to fight in WW I. There is much evidence to suggest many local residents and troops were infected prior to any evidence of the disease in Europe.
Since censorship prevailed in many countries of Europe during WWI, the seriousness and nature of this influenza was not widely published and instead was downplayed by European countries in order to maintain order and not panic the general population. Sound familiar? The exception to this censorship was in Spain, who remained neutral during WWI and free of censorship, so much of the news of the disease were widely discussed in their press. Subsequently, Spain, at some point, got stuck with the unfair moniker and blame for the influenza.

The part that I don't believe is the damn conspiracy that it was deliberately released by some research lab. (Probably people who watches too many Walking Dead shows or Stephen King books)
Everyone blames it on the Chinese saying its them, but actually nobody knows for certain which animal originally made contact with humans and virus crossed overthis could've happen anywhere in the world with so much exotic animals being sold, transported, smuggled.
Just look at Ebola, started in Africa and still nobody certain where it originally came from or from what animal.
Yet, never heard everyone calling it the African Virus. ?
The original Swine Flu that killed tens of millions started in the USA from some farmer, yet never heard anyone called this the American Virus?
So to be fair, let's not discriminate, its just a matter of time viruses crossover from animals to humans. Dont know when, Dont know where, Dont know who. Latest data suggest this will happen about every 10 yrs or so. And so far time frame has been fairly consistent. (Bird flu, Mediterranean Flu, Ebola, SARS-1, SARS 2- Covid, just to name a few In the past few decades). So as long as people touch, kill, transport and eat any type of meat, the likelihood increases. Don't even think staying away from exotic meat will save you as something as simple as eating a steak infected by a cow with mad cow disease will do you in.
Just saying as its my take on this whole topic.-IMO
Cheers.
