I actually prefer May vs February myself. Its much hotter though, pretty much the same amount of girls although some do come and go to visit family but not as much as during their new year. Hotel prices are about the same. Best thing is there's less tourists and less guys taking the girls out of the gogo's, so you'll be a king when you walk in. You won't get any deals though, in fact since the girls aren't making as much they might ask for a bit more than normal.

Baccara Bar on Soi Cowboy has a cover charge? When did that happen and how much is it? I was just there last week and there was no cover charge then. Like others have reported, there are times when the place is so packed they require me to buy a drink at the outside bar first, but I have never been asked to pay a cover charge there or in any of the other bars on Soi Cowboy that have girls who dance nude.

I walked around Soi Cowboy last night and decided to go into Baccara. I was surprised in that they didn't let you in the door, unless you bought a drink outside first. Inside, it was a madhouse. The place was packed and hardly a seat available. Can someone tell me why Baccara is packed while others have sparse attendance?

One night I too was asked to buy a drink before entering Baccara by the gnarly doorman. I laughed in his face and walked away. This guy knows me and knows I have spent plenty in this bar entertaining my Mini's entourage in days gone by. A couple nights later I went back to Baccara. I really wanted to say hello to one of my Mini's gal pals because I had not seen her since October when we all went out to dinner and P was recovering from her 2nd nose job. Her 1st nose job was a horrible disaster. The same doorman let me pass inside without any comment on this particular night. I wish he hadn't however. 555!
