I can shave my face, but the face skin is completely different quality (far smoother). if I had pimples on the face, they could get nicked easily too. But thousands of bumps sticking out on the balls is just inviting the tops of the bumps to be chopped off.

Never heard of "taint" before. I suppose these things are not discussed much. LOL I would have no clue if Thai language has any word for this, so I would have to make a phrase to describe it.

P.S. A few years back, one Thai girl asked me to get rid of underarm hair as well. So I did and continue to do so periodically. It is easier to keep pristine underarms with no odour (or as little as possible) if do not have significant amounts of hair there. I check my underarms periodically to see how I am going, especially after any activity. Shirts can pick up odour too. Deodorant helps delay underarm problems. Thais are very sensitive to body odours, whether mouth, tongue, underarms, dick foreskin, ass. So I am always cleaning all areas very carefully before going mongering and again before sex. It is hard to overdo it. Don't kid yourself guys that one shower per day is enough.

For some guys, a thorough underarm cleaning is not going last much more than one hour, before the odoriferous oils start coming out.

Hey, you guys haven't suffered for your art and craft until you have gone through a half dozen laser light hair removal sessions on your balls, taint and asshole! LOL. I did that many years ago when those laser hair removal salons were somewhat new. Haven't had a follow up session in a decade or more so don't know what the latest technological advances are but I can assure you each zap on the 1/4 inch or so area of the skin with the old laser light instruments felt like a smack with a combination white hot fire brand and cattle prod! Not fun. Thank god after the second session of 5-6, they introduced a numbing cream you spread over the region, let it settle in for about 30 minutes and then proceed without any pain at all.

BTW, pubic and underarm areas are kind of tough to rid the hair totally and forever this way, or at least that was the result in the past. So it still requires a quick swipe with a Gillette razor in the shower every few days or so. But it comes in much less, tinier and finer than the bush that grew there before.

Hi Syz, Been shaving most of my pubic region, balls, taint, and a-hole since about 1994. Also shave my chest and lower back areas. In Thailand I have been using a Gillette Blue disposable razor. I just soap up the area and go to town. It takes about 5 min or less in the shower. I do this every other day.

I am curious about balls shaving. My balls are covered in little bumps being sebaceous glands that hairs grow out of, and presumably this is very normal. Pic supplied. Not me. LOL.

The very numerous bumps meant that any attempt to shave the balls resulted in numerous nicks and bleeding from everywhere. So I wonder how shaving would be at all possible.

I have used depilation creams like Veet instead, far more successfully, however the first few days after hair removal is fairly prickly.

While in BKK I have seen a lot of "karaoke" establishments, but never ventured in due to tone deafness. There are international conventions on drugs that have lists of the drugs that needs to be declared. For most psychotropic drugs the standard is actually that they must be declared at every border crossing. Whether they are prescribed, you have a prescription with you and they are for your personal use, is of no consequence in respect of your duty to declare them and do the custom's paperwork.

Actually Thailand is worse than that. In theory, you also need to have an import licence in advance to take in the class of drugs such as Diazepam, according to the Psychotropic Substances Act 1975. In practice, most tourists don't know about that and just walk through the green channel (which is a declaration that they have noting to declare). If someone wanted to be super careful, they could just ask the customs officer and show their prescription and in doing so they have declared it. When customs see that the medication is for personal use, they just wave the tourist on. Therefore, even though in theory you need an import licence, in practice you don't if you declare it but you could also find that the customs officer takes it from you. Welcome to the Land of Smiles.
