Tired of the "1500 baht for university students" as if all students are hot. They're not. They're not even all students. The language barrier was a bit too great to even give a damn. But if talking to a girl just because she has the "university girl" label that you imagined gets you off then so be it. Lots of girls at "local's" bars / clubs are not even educated or go to university. And some of the ones who do go to school have money to not even be interested in FLing. You are left with a very small subsection of university or uneducated younger girl who may be interested in some extra cash. Generally this will lead to more frustration. This "university girls at the club only local's go to" isn't all that.

If you're a newbie, you're better off doing a variety of things to find out what works for you. Try a soapie, try a massage parlor, try a FL beer bar, try a gogo bar, try just walking up and down Sukhumvit, try online dating sites. If you're on a budget, well either a soapie or going for a nightly walk will be your best bet. You'll bound to find a few good looking ones. If you happen to match up with one and things go well, that's when you save her contact for future trips. Over time, you will have a nice contacts list.

It's not all doom and gloom. That's just ignorance. Can't make the claim of coming from a land of whales to then entering Thailand and claim now all the FLs or girls are fat, ugly, expensive. That makes no sense otherwise this forum would be empty. There are a number of lookers out there. Personally, I don't like a Thai girls look but even I can look past that and scale a Thai girls face from the good, bad, and just OK. Everything is more spread out now. If you're still stuck on sitting at just the beer bars and having a nice honey with you like 10 years ago, then you haven't adapted and will be stuck on 10 years ago.

Not saying it hasn't gotten worse. Agree that it's trending downward too. Price of the hotel & food are about the same as about 7 ish years ago but the price of the girls have gone up 2 to 5 times. A lot of that is self inflicted buy many mongers. Pretty much all from everywhere. But you can still find that nice 1500 to 2000 baht ST FL. It's really not horribly difficult. If you get out there early enough or just after the bars are closing, you have a great chance.

You're right, of course. I've had to become much more discerning and just deal with social awkwardness (after all, rejection is still rejection and feels bad from both sides, imo), but still not sure how to politely / discreetly figure out if she has anything up top or baby damage (one girl that had kids still had an amazing body, another had obvious baby damage, and even without babies some have pooches despite being very slim). The insistence on CBJ thing seems to be a more recent thing it seems to me, much more now than a year ago. Even then, part of me can't fault the girl for wanting to be safer as that's also good for me.

That being said, what about what we should be expecting for prices? I playfully was able to negotiate down from 2500ST to 2400ST, but it was with a girl who I think was just starting (and not hardened / spoiled yet) and seemed to really like me for some reason. To the members who frequent Nana / Cowboy more, are the barfines variable by club or just up to the whim of the mama (within the range of 700-1000)? ST at gogos I thought was also 2500, but recently none would go for less than 3000, and several reports of 3000 as well. I've literally seen prices go up 400 percent a year or two after a good place in Vietnam was mentioned on this website. They're easy enough to find with research. After all, I found them and I am no local. But you will do better if you speak and read the language or at the very least get some local male friends. It's amazing the difference when you leave the tourist areas, and this is true throughout Asia.

Recently reading more reports that BFs are 1000 and ST is now 3000 in the gogos, does this vary by venue, by girl, by who the client is? I've been told most girls want 3500, and the whole pay up front thing too at a couple different gogos, per my last reports here, but then I was also able to negotiate 2500ST (but ended up giving 3000 due to performance and GFE). As for Thermae, I always thought the standard for ST nowadays is 2500ST. I couldn't find a single report from you on these venues that offer those great performing university students for 1500 baht. I read the last 50 pages of the forum before I took my trip, and tried the places that were described as the best by someone. The entire point of this forum is helping your fellow man, correct?
