That would be pretty freaking funny arriving at Pegagus on a motorcycle or tuk-tuk. Right next to a guy in a tux in a Mercedes limo.

Also, don't wear shorts or flip-flops. Dress properly, no jeans and a tie wouldn't be out of place.

so far i was thinking 2-3 days bangkok, 2 days pattaya, and 2-3 days in phuket. i think this is managable to do in 8 days. or maybe i should spend my time differently? this is my friends first time in thailand and i want him to fully appreciate the place.

i'm with the rest of the folks, do only two places. the three locations are very different (atelast to me) and by the time you get the lay of the land so to speak it would be time to move on. my first trip to phuket i didn't know the lay of the land and it took me a while to figure out which bars are best and such. even rtff it still took me a while to get into the swing of things down there and basically started to pick up the local area on my second trip.

many of us have debated or bantered over time what we prefer bkk or pattaya in terms of mongering so pick one of those and phuket since you say you want [CodeWord118] and such. or pick a different location like phi phi or krabi or such if you are so inclined. to me phuket isn't all "that" more hype then anything else.

but only do two locations on 8 days. hell next week i'm spending over 9 days in bkk and that still won't be enough time for me.

as thailerner wisely advised, concentrate in one-two spots and make the best out of it. mongering is not a night-only activity, but it is true that quite some fun can be had at nights. maybe bangkok (3 nights) and pattaya (4-5 nights) could be the two locations where to spend the time in thailand and...discover all.

Last year I spent an evening in this club Pegasus. A man (western tourist) wearing sandals and shorts came in. Probably just to have a look; after about 10 minutes he left.

Its much easier for single guys getting two girls as can get two that are close friends and have experience together.

Otherwise with a guy/girl looking for another girl, probably the girl has to find another girl that she likes, which takes time.

Yes... of course... for a single guy. But when you alerady have a female partner and looking for a joiner... it is much more difficult decision. Especially if that partner is a long time girl friend or wife or such like Fun Couple supposedly are.

Getting that joiner to be open and willing on both and having your female partner open and willing to the guy playing with the joiner or such is not an easy task to accomplish.

As I said you can easily get a girl to join you but it is usually more BS then action. So letting the female partner take the lead in their case is what I suggest, just due to my past experience.

What might make things easier is that the couple is from out of town and probably don't care who sees or knows what.

This is not an uncommon request. There used to be several girls in the Huntsman Pub (Landmark Hotel, Sukhumvit Soi 4-6) that specialized in couples and un-accompanied women. Haven't been there in a while so I'm not sure what the situation is now.

However, if you visit some of the upscale hotel bars or clubs I am sure you won't have any trouble finding someone to accomodate your desires. I recommend you check out Spaso's.
