Thai air have flogged off all their long haul jets so are not expecting things to pick up any time soon. Along with BA and other airlines. They were verging on bankruptcy.

It needs to be taken out of state control. The brand has value and owns valuable slots but unless its privatized and a Willie Walsh or a Michael O'Leary takes the helm it's a black hole sucking in billions of baht.

It is sad to hear CH is continuing with their errant ways of before the pandemic. Good management would have told the girls and the wait staff to treat the few existing customers like kings. Instead, it sounds like they are performing a variation of the practice that when business is down raise prices / lower service.

Oh well, I gave up on CH a long time before the pandemic arose when their best-looking girls started to drift away and the bar did not bring in quality girls to replace them. Service also began to decline a long time ago with the advent of entry drink requirements, lady drink & coke double orders, and other customer unfriendly innovations.

I look for 2 things in a Go Go: 1) pretty girls and 2) friendly attitudes. Pricing does not really concern me as evidenced by my liking of a couple Pattaya Agency Go Go's with high barfines. It impresses me in a very negative way when a Go Go presents fugly girls dancing nude on stage or when the girls in general appear to be all about gouging the customer for every little thing. I really hope CH gets its act together by the time I return to BKK because it was a great Go Go, my favorite when it first opened and for a couple of years after, but I would not bet on it.

Everything you said and (never happened to me) but seen them doing it, charging a cover charge! I've got lucky multiple times always just kept walking before they ask, but I also was done when I got attitude when I refused double lady drink, a real shame it was a fun club!

Exactly, the young are being hit bad. New mutations are expected anytime. And as is said a covid free world is not expected any time soon. Its here to stay for ever. With mutations that will defy vaccines, until vaccines are modified to cope with deadly mutations if such a thing is possible.

Covid has always been with us. Covid is one of the main virus behind the common cold. Covid-19 is a very deadly form of the Covid virus. Every time a virus mutates it does not always get worse. Infections rates are dropping all over the world. I am confident that it will be a few years before the Wuhan lab lets out another killer strain of the virus. Relax, the world will return to normal soon.

You do realize Thailand is a military dictatorship right? OK it may be called something else but that's what it really is. The common people have no say in it. Some like to travel and millions have someone who works in a tourist related industry, others are scared of covid. The real reason Thailand will be super careful is because those in power want to stay there. Country stays closed cases low = they maintain their positions and keep lining their pockets. They open the country up and maybe it turns out ok but if a massive covid wave hits there will be protests and they could be ousted from power. They care nothing for the plight of the common people, but like most politicians do whatever it is that keeps them in power the longest.

Come to think of it. I may have erred. The people that want to keep Borders shut are the Farangs in Pattaya. Read Thaivisa most want to keep Borders closed.

About Thais- polling says keep it shut too. Not want catch Covid from dirty Farang.

A few Soi Cowboy go-go's were open, just as reported below. There was dancing, but not nearly as many girls as usual. I think Crazy House had about 10, with various amounts of clothing. Only one was really to my liking, so I bought her a drink. The girl wanted the expensive drink, but I went full Cheap Charlie and got the regular drink. I had a good time, with a little grinding and gentle groping, but she was off in about 4 minutes. She must have some internal egg time that she set to "soft boiled". Would she have hung out longer with the expensive drink? I don't plan to find out. The staff seemed more aggressive than usual about lady drinks. Every 2 minutes they came to bring a girl or point one out. The prices here were the same as usual, whereas some other bars seemed to have promotions. I feel like Crazy House is just for looking (maybe the most nudity in town?); I get better customer service elsewhere.

Vaccinated people can still carry and spread the virus. The vaccines are designed to save you from death. Until the rules for a COE are changed and 60+% of ALL people in Thailand get the vaccine, do not get your hopes up.

I agree with you that the Thai Govt. Will probably not lift the quarantine until a significant percentage of the Thai people are vaccinated.

As for the efficacy of the Phizer and most likely Moderna vaccine, which I have taken, read this news article by Lynn Allison.

"A study of over half a million inoculated people found that two doses of the Pfizer vaccine is 94% effective in preventing symptomatic COVID-19 in all age groups.

According to CBS News, results of the Israeli study in collaboration with experts at Harvard University were published Wednesday in the New England Journal of Medicine.

At the time of the study, the dominant strain of the virus was the U.K. variant, so the results reveal that the Pfizer vaccine is effective against that mutation. Pfizer and BioNTech announced Thursday that they have begun an evaluation on the safety and benefit of a third COVID-19 vaccine to protect against emerging variants of the virus.".

I agree with all of your assessments. But it always amazes me whenever this comes up the amount of guys that have trouble distinguishing a male from a female. With 99% of them you should be able to tell it is a man and not a woman with a quick glance. But evidently not from the stories and pictures posted here.

Why does this seem like a monumental task for some guys, when it just seems natural to me and others? It is like to some all it takes is hair, makeup, and clothes to equal woman, but others see right through that with no effort at all, to detect the man underneath.

Some Japanese friends had an awesome TH holiday, rented a villa with a pool, brought all their favorite booze, and were cooked for, massaged, sex on tap and a great bunch of friends having a great time.
