Have to agree with most of the comments on your post. I've always been in good shape, a gym rat, and am a decent looking dude, with a vicious sense of humor, who always had very attractive GFs and sex partners. I did not have issues getting laid back home, but it was effort and required quite an investment in money, time, and patiences putting up with a partner. Thailand was great because it required little effort and little money. That was the entire point. Sex, whenever you wanted it, with a wide selection of partners, without the effort, that could be had for the equivalent of 25 USD. Back in the day I knew almost no mongers who needed to have their ego fed. All of the previous is why the discussions of "game" and the rapid rampant price increases over the past couple of years have been so amusing and unsettling at the same time. A good looking guy certainly has access to beautiful girls without P4 P, but he would still pay in other ways. And that could be even more expensive. A good looking guy can get stuck with the same girl for ever. Girls have a way to hang on to the same guy without him even realizing it. I think there is a widespread assumption that men in Thailand paying for sex cannot get sex elsewhere. Even for a decent looking (top 10%) guy with great game skills (top 10% again), getting laid is a fair amount of work. In addition, outside of PFP, you almost never get much actual choice, just need to approach every promising target that presents herself, until one works.

This isn't all that different from the way it is in real life outside the P4P scene. It is relatively rare to see a really notable match in higher level attractiveness among couples. Off all the other mongers I met, how many were really good looking? In Thailand maybe one or two were well above average, and asshole rating can be inversely proportional, sometimes.
