Its not what people eat, that's simply cultural sometimes religious. Ever see a pig at home in their natural habitat I. E. Pigsty, filthy beyond belief and we eat pork. Its possible but not yet proven some species are more likely to carry contagious virus's that spread to humans. Sars, civit cats Covid-19, bats Mers, camels but for me its the hygiene, the rearing, slaughtering and preparation for consumption that causes most food related illness's. China's so called wet markets are recognized as dangerous precisely for these reasons and it is more than coincidence that both Sars and Covid -19 started there.

You guys making fun of other cultures' foods rally make me laugh. Like food we eat is so different. "Ew they eat bugs" as if lobster and shrimp aren't basically bugs. Rats and cats and dogs are gross but chickens and goats and pigs are fine. Or the people who refuse to eat brains or pancreas or stomach lining. Sure, some foods will make you sick -- like digging up a dead animal's grave, or eating a diseased animal. But there's nothing inherently more gross about any one culture's food. It's just different. Believe me, they make fun of our food as much as we make fun of theirs.

Oh, and those latinas? They might eat Guinea pig (cuy) or worms (gusanos) or ant larvae (escamoles) or bull penis soup (calde de cordan).

An addendum to your gross eats. Issan are famous for eating, cockroaches, worms, beetles, and grubs, all dried and toasted. You can catch the vendor on Soi 7/1 or Soi 4.

I call it Issan Candy. I don't know what is worst, rats and bats or bugs, but they love it. Oh and in Issan they eat raw pork and fresh pigs blood. One of Bourdain's episodes deals with northeastern Thailand. Check it out.

The grasshoppers and worms aren't so bad at all!. I had some when I was in the provinces of Buriram(Sateuk) and Maha Sarakham(Phayakkaphum Phisai). Tasted like beef jerky. Of course, I washed it all down with LEO Beer!. In all seriousness, that part of Thailand has been poor for a pretty long time and still is. You can't blame them for doing whatever it is they had to do to survive. Of course, bats, mice, cockroaches, beetles, dogs are my breaking points. Come to think of it, there was a story about 3-4 years ago in Mukdahan, Thailand of some teens digging up a dead dog's grave to eat it and they did, ONLY to realize the dog had rabies!. I kid you not.

P.S. The fresh pigs' blood is an acquired taste, I suppose. I had that with pork noodles when I lived in Saphan Khwai. There's a Big C that has a food court that specializes in Issan food. Tasted pretty damn good to me!.

In most cases those nose jobs make a world of difference. I spent the night over a chicks house that had just gotten one 2 weeks ago though and I told her that she wasted her 10,000 baht. She looked exactly the same to me. She said the nostrils are more flared or something. But the chicks that add the bridge (which I think is the most common one) usually look better IMO.

I don't give a rat's ass about a girl's face provided she has the right body. Cosmetic surgery to improve the figure (not the tits) is the only type of surgery that would make a difference to me. And it's precisely the type of cosmetic surgery women here don't go for.
