From what I've read BKK with all the foot traffic and tourists, is more of a businesslike approach from the girls who move on to the next customer if they don't sense they will be able to close a deal. Hopefully I'm wrong.

The girls work in the bar to make money. They do this by selling drinks or getting barfined. If neither of those is at all likely from the customer, the girl will probably move on, except in the unlikely event he is Bard Pitt. LOL Only the sluttiest girls want to get groped for free. So if you are not doing anything, you become a useless customer, trying to get entertainment for free. A waste of space. If you want the girl to stay with you, she will if you are nice to her, most likely, but that means buying her a drink. If she is super hot, some other customer may already be on the verge of barfining her, so she may go away quickly, if you are dilly dallying. The girl could spot her regular very generous customer enter the bar, and she will make a bee-line for him, or perhaps make some excuse like she needs to go to the toilet. Thanks at Aviator12, at allover. I had never realized these bars served non alcoholic drinks. In the past it was my favorite way of getting sauced while visiting countries that had girlie bars.
