My first trip to BKK is finally happening this month.

1. Hotel & Soi 7 & outcalls.

Staying at a hotel on soi 7 for ten days. I called the front desk asking policy on girls in rooms. "As long as no overnight. Guests ok. " Later I booked on their website for two adults so maybe I could have a girl overnight. I'll ask again when I get there.

If I order an outcall, do I need to meet the girl in lobby / street and walk her in? Can she just come to my room on her own? If I pull street talent or barfine, can I just walk her in or do I need to stop by the front desk? I suppose I'll figure all this out when I'm there.

If you can bring $US in cash and then go to a money changer linke "Superrich" they will give you baht for virtually no exchange costs. If you use ATM's then you will most likely be paying 2% to 4% depending on your card. ATM is probably safer, I personally like cash!

Taxi's from the airport now are a lot better. They lineup and you get given a ticket etc. Just jump in and make sure the turn the meter on. Some will try it on by saying 500 fixed fare, just say meter and point and they will turn it on and it will run 300+ change. They will also ask to if you want the motorway or not. You pay the tolls on the motorway by giving cash to the driver. I think it is 70 baht in total. The time saving is worth the $2.

Novotel on Sukhumvit 4 is great. I have stayed there many times, it is worth paying the extra couple of bucks to get a high floor facing the city as the views are really nice. They also have an Ibis attached to the same complex for about 2/3 the cost. Very guest friendly, as it is on soi 4 you will see plently of guests up and down the elevators. I fondly remember having breakfast there with one of Nana's finest. We sat down next to a HiSo local Thai couple who were horrified at me and my Isan Princess. The look on their faces were priceless - 555.

Instead, try Thai Friendly as there are a bunch of girls there that are freelancers. It's quite easy to look at profiles to find out who freelances, mark them as favourites but don't waste time contacting them before arrival. Change in Canada at the bank, get USD then change to Baht in BKK but I feel I would be getting ripped by doing to separate exchanges if so where is the best place and then obviously pulling out from ATM as needed as I don't want to be carrying two weeks of fun time cash with me. I will head to Lao or Cambodia after a few days in BKK then back to Pattaya for a week. Do I need a multi entry visa or will I just get another 30 day toursit visa on my return?

I arrive pretty late so will take a taxi from BKK. My understanding is about 300 baht to Nana How do I ensure I am not getting ripped off?

Planning to stay at the Novotel on Sukhumvit 4 , I don't need anything too fancy as long as they clean the room every day. If anyone has any suggestions in that area for a similar budget recommendations are appreciated.

My last experience with the GOGO and Beer Bars in BKK were pretty miss. I will probably still check out the GoGos for fun but will relay mostly on Smooci or Bangkok Golden Escort. I understand it's more money but hoping through some research and vetting will increase the chance of damn good time. Daytime action will be from Doki Doki, Kokoro maybe Tulip.
