Another thing I wanted to share: In Soi Cowboy I most liked the SHARKS GoGo bar. Good energy, nice girls, really good music. It was also the place that had the least girls trying to pull people in from the street all the time. I 'm sure there are other good bars too, but this one turned out to be my favourite.

Spent a few days in Bangkok. Fun can be had here. Still a good place to go. WG on street will ask 1000 Baht for ST, real low price, yeah. But lot of them are ladyboys. Not my thing at all. Girl at GoGo is 600 Baht Barfine plus 2000 Baht shorttime which you can negotiate to 1500 for ST if it's getting late night time (say after 01h00). Depends on the girl. So it is possible to have 2 hours of fun for 2100 baht = some 55 Euro. That's a good deal guys. I'm still very much in favour of Bangkok. Girls are mostly kind too, friendlier than Vietnam's, Chinese. Just MHO.

Harold, you are missing the point here completely and in doing so are leaving yourself wide open for a less than positive response. It is irrelevant how you or anyone else rates the girls Mr L considers to be top of the pile street workers.

For example number 24 at Annie's has been well documented on this forum to the point of reverence. A very long time friend of mine tried her back in March and rated her as one of the top three experiences he has ever had and believe me he has had his fair share and more. Guys are not paying for a brand name. The brand name Rainbow 4 get customers in the door I do agree. But guys end up paying for the individual girl they like.

Any fool can see see not all Rainbow 4 girls are of the same tier. Some are very beautiful. Many above aveverage looks. A whole lot of average looking. And the CABOOSE girls who bring up the rear. R4 costs more because they can get away with it & they need to do so due to their overhead costs, like advertising, tea money, utilities, employees wages, etc. Street workers don't have these costs, so can charge less.

Don't fool yourself into thinking hot gogo SWs are any hotter than hot street SWs. The only difference is the price & what comes with the brand name.

So if you want to blow 2, 500 baht ST plus BF plus drinks for the brand name R4 hottie, feel free. Others will dish out only 1000 to 1500 for the no name brand street girl who is equally attractive.

I really do appreciate it when people take time to leave positive comments, it makes all of my effort worthwhile. You might like to know that I posted similar diaries in the Philippines section of this website.I'm really glad you identified with that comment. I think these girls are brilliant. They're fun, silly, cute, affectionate, bright, inquisitive and they are choosing to do what they do often for their families. It's funny, in the western press these girls are portrayed as victims but they're actually strong girls who deserve nothing but utmost respect.

On your last paragraph I beg to differ a bit.
