When I use google to translate the website, all the content disappears.

Is there a way to make this work, or do I need to browse in Thai and only copy and paste the text to translate?

I use Google Chrome with Google Translate and it automatically translates all the Thai to English as if I am browsing the website completely in English. I do not have to copy and paste. The browser automatically changes everything to English as I navigate the website. The only thing that does not translate automatically is pictures that have Thai (or other languages) in the pictures. Basically it will not auto-translate anything that you cannot copy and paste. Try using Google Chrome if that is not your standard browser. You can also add the Google Translate extension for Google Chrome and that will give you some additional translation features as well.

There are some cases where I need to do exactly what you suggest, copy and paste to my translation software. Very easy on a laptop.

The Pimp is a giant waste of money. Everything is extra $ there and be sure to watch your bill and keep track of what is ordered or they will add to your bill.

You're much better off getting a luxury hotel suite and a couple top girls from nana+ booze for the same price. Pimp girls are not that hot, unless maybe you like cheaply done boob jobs.

I also just recently discovered a treasure trove of websites featuring 'sideline' girls. All in Thai, of course, but google will translate for you. The prices are sure a lot better than what most of you numbskulls seem all to eager to pay as well. Check and report back. Go..

I think when the sanctions will be lifted the country will be flooded with (sex) tourists, no matter if it's 'only' 30 degrees C. or 40 degrees C. out there. And lots of tourists means lots of girls will come back from their provinces. So there won't be a low season this year, when that happens.

I agree with this. Once Thailand agrees to no quarantine and no PCR test on arrival there will be a huge flood of all sorts of tourists. Won't matter if it's high or low season.

Now that some guys are posting actual reviews in Pattaya Reports and Bangkok Reports hopefully we can all respond to COVID discussion posts in the COVID thread.

Yes, I think that a fair prognosis of when sanctions will be lifted, which will put us right at the start of low and very hot season April, May, more or less. Not much help to anyone, certainly not tourists who generally prefer coming in the cooler and dry months.

I got the Modernas, all three. I haven't got covid as far as I know. My kid had the SinoVac with a Pfizer booster. She got the Rona.

Pretty amazing to hear given your vax status. Guess you are fortunate this occurred in Samui rather than Bangkok where rumor has it, a case of Covid would land you in a hospitel prison or a normal hospital. How many days are you in quarantine and how many days were you planning to spend in a Thailand overall?

I'm finally back in Thailand for the next few months, luckily made a window where there's only 1-day quarantine, and flew to Samui for a little non-mongering style relaxation.

And guess what? I caught covid, even though I have 3 vaccinations and I'm quite careful about wearing my mask, except when I eat at restaurants.

I took 2 brands of quick tests, both returned negative results, but I was feeling so bad I went to a hospital, and tested positive.

The entire experience (besides what was probably one of the worst flus I've had) wasn't terrible. The hotel they quarantined me in had an ocean view, and the food wasn't bad.

Still. It shows that even being careful and vaccinated you can get infected.
