You can't enter the majority of clubs or soapies in Japan because of the language barrier.

Actually the origin dates to after the Second World War. American GIs in Japan were spreading STDs in the brothels leading to the majority of P4 P businesses in Japan becoming Japanese only. The stigma has of course continued to this day. Funny though, several of the current multi-drug resistant strains of gonorrhea and mycoplasma genitalium have their origins in Japan.

I don't agree. I think she finally went with him because he was very persistant and didn't give up on her. But she was still reluctant and by not performing she even took the risk that he would send her away with (much) less money than agreed upon or even empty handed.

There's no doubt the chicks there prefer Japanese guys. And before the "you just need to have game" idiots get started, I saw some good looking young farangs in there and nothing, head up, see farang, head back down, looking at phone. I was there once and about 3/4's of the chicks didn't accept any interest from any guys not Japanese. I got to talking to another farang guy there and he's not on the forum and echoed all the sentiments from here. I don't feel like I missed anything.

I think of it as a good all night diner or 24 hour take out place.

Thermae, used to be the best joint in town, when it was the after hours bar for the gogo and bar girls.

As far as I know, it stopped opening late hours many, many years ago, hence becoming a bar for only freelancers that love Japanese, rather than an all night bar for all girls that were less selective and more farang experience from their 'day' jobs.

I am surprised that a white guy did not get reception here. I know Indians had a challenge. But looks like Japanese are preferred more over white guys. I am just joking but it is a good way to know what pros think of us.

I also prefer eye candy, who are notoriously difficult to pick up for a non-Asian guy.

That about sums it for me too. Sure there were girls giving me the eye but not ones of a quality to interest me. The top quality were usually snapped up by Japanese guys very quickly.

One stunner told me she was waiting for someone when looking the other way did not deter me. I took two to 3 girls in recent years. None worth repeating, for one reason or another. None were GFE, enthusiastic, good body and good face. So it is far from easy to get the model types in there.

Is so tough for me to evaluate the bodies as well with many girls over dressed. That is why I like bars with girls very skimpily clad at best. Sometimes get lucky at MPs by selecting skinny to slim girls, but so few really pretty.

TBH, Thermae is not great any longer so you're not missing out on a lot.

That's for sure. WAY down my last trip there.

But I did mange to score a pretty nice one there (or rather outside there) at the end of one night after striking out at the discos (following your advice- 555) . So its still a good option to keep in mind.

BTW: Discos on Sukhumvit (Levels, Insanity) were just atrocious this trip in terms of QT of girls! We are talking Marin Disco or Bamboo Bar quality.
