I did not tell her it was a dive bar. It is just an open bar with outdoor tables facing the Soi and some seating inside. In fact, I think that I have spotted a few escorts types in this bar either before or after the deed. I doubt she was familiar with the bar in any event. There are other restaurant with bars nearby but a bit more upscale and sometimes tough to find a seat. I really think if I said to meet at a coffee place, her reaction would have been even worse.

I'm going to be in BKK for the first time in a few weeks and I'm hoping to set up a dinner date or two with some independents I've been chatting with on Smooci. Something quiet, intimate, but not too crazy expensive would be great. I'll be staying at the Westin Grande, so somewhere not too far from there would also be preferred.

Not necessarily. Depends on you, her, and your ability to negotiate.

I often get short time at Nana Plaza for bar fine + 1500.

Three memorable days in Bangkok, after a gap of nearly 5 years. Bangkok is no longer cheap. Short time take away from Nana Plaza was 1000 + 3000 = 4,000 Baht. Plenty of doable young pretty slim girls in Butterfly. Service was pretty good too from Kik (402) and Om (235).

Kiss at Doki Doki was worth visiting twice. They show the line up, if requested.

Excellent regular massage at Asia Herb, close to Nana Plaza.

Excellent diner at Prai Raya.

Also on Soi 8 is Kinnaree, not to be confused with the restaurant of the same name on the other side of Sukhumvit on Soi 11. The one on Soi 8 is moderately upscale, quiet, much nicer. You walk down a short driveway next to Det-5 restaurant.

I find Prai Raya to be quite loud and difficult to chat in. Unless you sit outside. With all the hard surfaces in the restaurant, hard floors, hard wood tables, mostly bare walls and their strange choice of tables where you sit rather far from your date (presumably to accommodate several platters of food), I find the place really loud with everyone raising their voice to be heard, echos all around and so on. Seriously, when the place is full you can barely hear what the person sitting across from you at a simple table for 2 is saying.

Attractive Thai restaurant though.

Beware, at Cabbages and Condoms there is a big banner near the entrance to the main dining room of stick figures illustrating the Dos and Don't's of various sexual activities for the sake of "safety" based on outdated, scientifically dubious notions of yesteryear. Like, for example, a BBBJ+CIM and DATY is ok but don't you or your date dare swallow what comes out as a result.

Personally, I would never take a date, paid or free, to that restaurant.

Thanks, and you're probably right about it not being worth it. Not sure I'll go that route; maybe just meet for a drink in the hotel bar instead. We'll see. I do enjoy a little bit of "out of the sack" time to get warmed up, but I guess that really depends on the girl and if she's into it.

If there's an upscale place in BKK that you really want to eat at, it's worth taking a woman out. But never any gains otherwise. Getting some drinks and snack at the local bars would do just as good if not better because now you can build chemistry or cut bait.

For what's its worth, I don't think taking an escort from Smooci or anyone other escort service is worth the time and expense.

I have always stopped in to CH when I'm here and was never impressed. But now the girls are all 8 and 9's. Very impressive. .

I also like the painted dancers act. One girl, Apple was fantastic. She has snake glow in the dark paint and her short hair, punk style is great. I sat at the dance floor. And put money in front of me and she put her sweet pushy in my face.
