Yesterday I went to Watana Hotel in soi 17 of Ratchada road. This hotel has many rooms with freelance girls. You can find their ads on finfin.vip. A website for Thais looking for young students or freelancer. Hundreds of ads mainly in Thai but some are in English as well. You can connect to the girls via Line and chat with them. There are 4-5 Ukrainian and Russian women as well available. Met with Victoria, Ukrainian, maybe 35 years old. Nice body, good English. Good service for 1400/ h. Another option is Margarita Storm on Sukhumvit at Soi 13, which is one of the many Sunrise Mexican Taco and Grill locations around town. Also, it is open 24 hours. There is another one in Terminal 21 mall and a couple of smaller versions elsewhere on Sukhumvit Road, including the corner of Sukhumvit and Soi 7/1.

I like La Monita fine but tend to return to Margarita Storm more often. For my taste, La Monita loads up many of their items with way too much chopped onion, overwhelming (or masking?) the natural flavor of the other ingredients. And Margarita Storm's quacemole is better.

However, La Monita at Ploenchit is the only location that has a killer rice pudding for only 60 baht. Lol.

Given enough time I will try to visit both but right now the numbers are two to one for La Monita but I love Guacemole so that has got me leaning? Plus lots of action on Soi 11 or at least used to be? Aside from food, my plate is a bit full of other plans I already have a commitment from an old friend that is bragging " don't expect to sleep " WTF?

I guess it comes down to whether you are talking about systems or individuals. Where you have a genuine constitutional based democracy there will be checks and balances preventing abuse of power but even there autocrat demigods can rise, capitalizing on fears and prejudices by spinning lies and conspiracies. In countries where constitutions are regularly changed by military coups and there is deep rooted ingrained systemic corruption I would agree with you that it is different there. Bottom line lies are lies, this is no such thing as alternative facts.

Agree, lies are lies but what I'm referring to is the style of the individuals here in Thailand they seem to come from the same school of lies and there is no one that can challenge, maybe the reason the youth of Thailand did a March yesterday on how dinosaurs the government is today.

I disagree that it isn't different. Turn and walk away and say to themselves I did my job for the day.

It's like in one of the Seinfeld series, Jerry asks George how do you lie and pass the lie detector test each time. George replies what are you talking about? they believe it so deep it actually becomes the truth?

I doubt any of them actually believe they are lying and consciously decide to spin it over and over again with the intent that people will believe if they hear it often enough. Once a thought enters their head because they are essentially egotistical narcissists who become so corrupted by their own vanity this becomes their reality, their truth.
