Actually, there is no LEGAL age in Thailand for our hobby, as prostitution is ILLEGAL in the Land of (vertical) Smiles. The legal age of consent is 15 here, but that's when no (financial) gratification is given in exchange of sexual services, but if a Thai girl is under 20, she needs to obtain first her parents' written consent in order to marry someone legally.

If you are a foreigner, you could theoretically get into troubles if you are caught with any prostitute, regardless of her age, but practically, the law is not strictly enforced and you should be safe if your provider is over 18 year old, but it's certainly not the same story if she's younger.

The Prevention and Suppression of Prostitution Act clearly states what are the various penalties under the Thai Law when minors under 18, between 15 and 18, and under 15 are involved (of course, younger is the minor, harsher is the penalty).

The ladies (who were older and not as hot as I would usually pick) seemed not to be 'into it' at all (not surprising, but at least most working ladies over here pretend fairly well). as i live close to patpong, it is an easy for me to go there and not invest a lot of time or money if it appears dead. i also know a few of the women who work there (!) , so i am somewhat privy to the "grapevine." lately, at times, granted, it has been slow, but with the onset of high season there is new, young talent for the experienced monger. touristy, sleazy, young old, dirty, flash; patpong has it all these days.

not a complete dissent, but there is more to patpong than you report. i spent considerable time at superstar over the summer and found it acceptable. the music is classic rock circa 70's and 80's (so you can flashback to what it was like when you were in college as you pick-up on college-age cuties!) the pressure to barfine is a lot less than what you find in nana, though you will get worked a little --

I don't understand. Do you mean you could not approach the girls or they werent your taste? These places are packed with FLs. As soon as I get there they look at me, I just need to stay near them and they often do the approach (I. E. Cheers!). I mean it's not especially me, it's obviously any available farang there (Bangkok Beat, Climax, Nana). Finding a girl up to your taste if you like young girls is another story.

In Q Bar it can be different. It is more a place for partying and can have a high share of regular girls.

In Thermae, ALL girls are FLs. However, the pretty girls are exclusively targeting Japanese ATMs and will never even look at a white guy. Some girls also go with farangs but they are not so pretty.

Yeah, the last time I was in Bangkok I went to Eden one afternoon but was seriously disappointed with the talent available. I had a few good experiences going back a few years. But the girls I had seen then are long gone. Think one of the them was Wah. Great girl. The new owner didn't seem to be too patient with my questions about the girls available. He called a lineup and when I didn't see much I liked he told me it was late and the best ones were already taken and to try again another time. So I went back the next day earlier when they open up for business but it was the same unimpressive lineup. So had a drink and left. I'm sure I'll be back to try in the future and see if they have some turnover. I know it is a place to go for the 3some experience and not the lookers so you have to keep that in mind. IMHO, there is no Globol economy in Thailand unless you are buying a fake copy. So ask yourself if you want a fake condom? I like to walk around and compare prices at times and I see products like Nike, being sold 2 times the prices I see at home. Just the other day I saw a pair of Nikes being sold at 5,000 baht, this same shoe I saw in February on sale in Sportmart for $69.95. A bottle of Tire shine sells at Kragens for $4.99 was being sold at Big C, for 1199 Baht, last month there was a Lexus 270, on the show floor at Central Festival in Pattaya listed at just under 4,000,000 baht.

In the end, when it comes to time and money get it at home and save your time mongering.
