Yes while typical Chinese round faces don't suit me, nor do the overly straight bodies with flat asses. I guess the good looking Chinese girls are less than 1%. I would not consider living in Hong Kong or Guangzhou. I hated the culture and the girls did not appeal. I assume Shianghai is much better.

Interesting perspective, thank you for sharing this. I have lived in China 4. 5 years and after a cumulative 25 days in Thailand across two visits; I think my preferences are shifting. I'd say I still prefer the far right tail of the Chinese girl distribution, but in terms of the more average girls, Thai girls kick their asses for several reasons. They are actually not that much whiter than Thais, on average, ime. You might get that impression from pictures because they are notorious for filtering / photoshopping their pictures until they barely resemble their real life images. There's a lot more national / ethnic pride, and whether its WGs or civilians, that right tail is largely inaccessible for non Chinese in China, whereas the right tail seems very accessible for foreigners with Thai women. I've been flatly refused service countless times from girls who make less than 1 k usd / month in China; I can't imagine this ever happening in Thailand.

I'd put it this way with regard to average girls: Chinese girls are very beautiful but not very sexy. Thai girls are extremely sexy, but not very beautiful. I'm talking about averages, not the exceptions. I feel like even among civilians and not WGs, I can find tons of Thai girls I'd love to just bang the bejesus out of, but they wouldn't exactly look great in a photograph. I can find tons of Chinese girls who look gorgeous and like they should be painted or in a photoshoot for a magazine, but weirdly are only slightly boner inducing. All the Chinese women I work with look far better in their formal work uniforms (medium length skirt+women's dress blouse+medium heels) than when they are allowed to dress themselves; I feel like this would never happen in any other country. I got to give credit to American women; they may be super fat and unattractive on average, but at least the attractive minority know how to dress and present themselves probably better than anyone else in the world. Thais do well on this as well, however.

Chinese WGs generally have awful attitudes and you'd be shocked at how poorly they treat customers; plenty of shit they do and say to customers on a routine basis would be grounds for being fired instantly if they worked in Thailand. There's been a huge crackdown since 2017 so finding full services as a foreigner requires pre-existing connections from before the crackdown unless you can read fluently.

I found large breasted Thais easier to find than large boobed Chinese. Again it's partly the collective delusion Chinese women have about what men find attractive and a desire not to look "trashy" for facing scorn from female friends / colleagues, breast surgery is extremely rare even among financially successful WGs (I've met 4 out of maybe 60 ish) and the ones with big naturals seem to go out of their way to hide them to avoid the judgement of women or to attract "the wrong kind of man".

Never had a proper Thai GF, but Chinese GF as a foreigner (or even as a Chinese) can be absolutely nightmarish. They become incredibly demanding after you're about 9 months in, but alas this is the Bangkok thread so I won't write out another novel about that.

Thailand impressions from a younger guy:

It seems like all the youtube videos on do's and don'ts advice on Thailand girls are directed at the physically unattractive middle aged portly English gentleman or his Desi equivalent. I saw the bar girl ten commandments and a bunch of other youtube videos from a guy called Simon on the land of smiles youtube channel and got the impression that these ladies should detest a young visibly strong strong well endowed fella on a western middle class income and lives in a different third world Asian country; they go too hard on that p making it more difficult to work, they don't buy gifts, they generally take more effort and work, they take longer to pop, they want more pops. All these videos seem to paint a picture that the 45+ year old fat "gentle hearted" wealthy guy they can beguile into bringing them to the UK was the Thai girl's favorite customer. Maybe this is true; one can't ask and expect a truthful answer. Furthermore, these videos are talking about BAR girls; the type of girl who goes to work in a soapy / oily is going to be quite different from the type who works at a gogo bar / beer bar and it's not unreasonable to assume they have different preferences. But the fact is, they are still women with needs and their clientele are fairly unattractive overall, particularly at the more western catering massage places. And I should emphasize I say that in reference to massage places; I did notice quite a lot of handsome younger guys in the gogo bars but not in the beer bars. There's a lot of good looking and younger men at the Asian catering places, though. I'm a guy who can't avoid thinking about maximizing value. In my perspective, strictly in terms of a "per baht" efficiency, it goes like this: 1. Freelancer 2. Oily Massage, 3. Soapy Massage (quite variable, some are even cheaper than Oily massage), 4. Gogo. I don't have enough experience with beer bars to place them, but I'm guessing it's maybe just slightly less cost efficient than freelancers. You could have a lot of awesome experiences for a relatively low price per pop going this way. Problem to me is, in a gogo environment it's going to be so hard to figure out which girls you have the right chemistry for that to happen with. I can "feel out" a massage girl in that 1-on-1 private environment, "test drive", and figure out if that chemistry is there that would justify dropping barfine+longtime, but with a gogo bar this kind of screening is impossible. What if you get longtime with a girl who just isn't that into it? Maybe the Thailand vets have a system down for this. Maybe if you say you want long time they sort of automatically provide good service because they're relieved to be excused from the gogo for many hours. The girls in there honestly seem soulless, bored, impatient, and restless. It was an understandable contrast from the soapy and oily girls; the gogo ones have to move around, have a hard time chatting with friends / coworkers, can't use phones, got to be in a noisy and boozey crowded environment. The massage girls have a nice quiet relaxing environment, can sit outside if it's an oily, seem to have a lot of camaraderie with their coworkers, and generally gave off the impression that they were not at all unhappy with the job, whereas I got that vibe from gogo girls. The only ones that seemed not miserable were at Baccarra.

Beer bars seem promising; there's something nice about seeing girls in more "normal" but still sexy clothes rather than gogo uniforms which can range from awesome to atrocious. The vast majority in Nancy and Angelina were Thai local men; most of the time I was the only foreigner all day in those places!

I don't get the Tulip hype. I went in 3 times asking for Golf and she was never present. Most of the women were very ugly and into their 40's, although some had some nice fake boobs and dammit a man loves A+ with a small waist fake boobed Asian woman. Some of the women were literally obese! Is golf really much more attractive than most of the ladies in here?

Overall Thailand is a god damn paradise. I could never live here or I would get even less done with my life in terms of advancing career, making money, savings etc and would just spend all time / money on mongering. 1. Angelwitch: There were some really hot girls in there, but also a handful who need to drop this profession immediately and go do something else. Girls tend to be on the more thick side, almost none were what I'd call "skinny". The show / performance thing between the regular gogo gyration / dancing is kinda cool, but I wouldn't call it arousing or sexy. 5. Bee at Cherry Massage: I saw her pictures on the website and noticed she offered A+ service. Looked like an ultra hot 9/10 in photos. The girl in person looks almost nothing like the one in the pictures; they advertise her as like 5'3 and 48 kg, but she is about 5'5 and 60 kg and very dark skinned unlike the photo. Quite honestly, the mongering seen in Bangkok isn't like it used to be For tourists. If you are a first-timer, you're going to pay as much as you do in the West if not more depending on where you go. If you are living here, or staying here as a snowbird like I do, then it's still decent.

You must have been out of the west for a long time, the prices for anything resembling the quality or ease of even a somewhat bad deal in BKK are a massive bargain and ease compared to most places in the west. Sure, some specific exceptions or good luck spots apply, but go to most places in the west and good fucking luck with anything like the BKK scene. Hell even stuff like partytreffs are getting priced up big for bad service with an angry romanian girl.

Its hard to rate a place based on a single girl. You can get a dud anywhere. I never found that higher priced girls were better overall, in fact very few of them were worth repeating. Some of the very good performers were cheap girls. So it seems the premium is mainly for the looks of the girl. My one try at the Lord was very ordinary girl for performance, yet expensive.

My regular girl at La Belle, went downhill in looks (from nose job) and in service, yet she moved to a higher price category. I never had any other girls worth repeating there. A lot of bad luck, suspect bodies hidden under clothes, and dick scared girls common.

I suspect there is the problem of girls arrogantly over rating themselves, and not being humble and doing their best.

Lower level girls may realise that they are very dependent on repeat customers, and therefore really try hard to please. Stunning girls can get plenty of non repeat bookings, so may not try as hard.

Had my flight changed and added 2 extra days to my trip, flew into BKK at 2 am with 5 people on the entire plane, immigration was a breeze, staying at Grande Centre Point T21. By the time I got checked in it was 4 am and didn't want to make the effort to clean up and go to Cowboy.

Day 1.

Hit up Doki Doki at 11 AM. Too early, only 3 in the line up, chose Happy for 90 m. Her face is much better than her body, which is showing it's age. Seems like the line between too early and too late is a fine one. Was told there were a lot of customers so I left. Grabbed a taxi over to Poseidon instead, got there at around 2:30 PM, was shown the fishbowl, not a lot of options (only one floor at that time actually), nothing outstanding so I chose a smaller cute lower priced girl named Donut trying to catch my eye. Paid the fee and went up to the room, which was not great. Donut wasn't hiding anything under the dress and was pretty fit. Got a good dry massage, followed with the soapy massage in the tub, haven't gone to a soapy before but IMO not anything near as good as nuru. Cleaned up, went on the bed, got a cat bath and CBJ as she did not want to do BBBJ. Started in cowgirl, multiple positions and popped back in cowgirl. Grande Centre Point T21 has been better than expected. Great location, good staff, breakfast is OK but I've had better for the 400 they are currently charging. It's right next door to Cowboy but I didn't partake. Lot of girls coming in and out. Also very popular with mongers and tourists alike. Booked a premium room at last minute for about $140 a night, room is very large with separate living area and bedroom, excellent views as well. Was told some premium rooms have washer and dryers but mine did not.

Also, did Doki Doki switch location? I believe I've visited about a year and a half ago, and they had a different set up (no lineup with a selection from iPad at reception and in a building with 3/4 floors). I remember that shop was in an alley on the right side of a side street. Maybe I'm misremembering, but that previous nuru experience was excellent, just as good as my experiences in Japan.

Lots of reasons, but my guess at the main one is they are ridiculously expensive. BFs keep climbing and gals want more and more. There is no value, and I think even some tourists are catching on. The coyote and then agency thing really screwed up the business model. Want customers back? Bring BFs back to 500 Baht and get ST prices back at 1500. Bars will be loaded.

If I was planning a trip to Southeast Asia from the West now, I would cancel it. I myself am leaving Bangkok for Cambodia today for a variety of reasons, this virus has just expedited it.

Quite honestly, the mongering seen in Bangkok isn't like it used to be For tourists. If you are a first-timer, you're going to pay as much as you do in the West if not more depending on where you go. If you are living here, or staying here as a snowbird like I do, then it's still decent.

On this trip I have been in Bangkok since August, and while I do go to a go-go every now and then for amusement, I have not bar fined out of a go-go in years. Basically, especially in soy cowboy, they are a little more than clip joints for Asian tourists.

Now if your goal is to eat great food, and enjoy the atmosphere and see cool stuff, with some ability to grab some hottie as a bonus, then it's worth while coming. Use the massage parlors in the prom pong area or go to thermae. Usually, when I give my let's get laid tours, my lesser heeled clients find something they like in terme, the ones who don't care about cost end up the all-nighters, including mixx.

Keep in mind that starting around Christmas time, and lasting at least till the middle of next month, the air sucks all up and down the Chao Phraya valley. Too bad that's also the coolest time of year in terms of heat.

I've been avoiding the tourist area down on lower Suk for the past the two weeks but one of my homeboys told me it's dead. I live near a very popular Thai food Street and last night it was dead there too. My biggest concern about coming to Bangkok now would be the inability to get out because already, some taxi driver has been diagnosed with the virus and you never know when they make those things down.
