I am planning on visiting Vietnam and Cambodia. However, the posters in those forums all say they'd rather go to BKK for the money.

I'm looking at some of the prices mentioned here and it seems to be a little higher than Vietnam (maybe not Cambodia, wtf is up with the prices there?

Nana. Just check out a few spots. Angelwitch, Rainbow 4, Butterflies, Billboards, and whatever else fits. Generally the ground level is crap. Don't go to any of the small gogos in the corners near the stairs by the Nana entrance side, just move on, not worth your time. Watch out for the pushy LBs.

Tulip. Yes, of course, and you'll want to go multiple times. Snow White just reopened at a new location on 24/1 and would be worth checking out as well. We had some different experiences.

Nana. Don't worry about the lady boys, once you say no thank you and walk away they will leave you alone within about 5 seconds. I've preferred the bars on the second floor near the tops of the stairs and escalator, perhaps the same bars that you avoid. I had about 6-8 bar fines from those anreas over the last several weeks. If you need a good ambiance, don't bother with that place.

I've been there only once (last November), and it looked exactly like you described it. Normally, the environnment doesn't matter to me but the girls were not good looking either.

Baccara (2nd floor only) is probably the best spot in Soi Cowboy right now, feel free to pop into others, but Baccara upstairs is pretty much a sure thing.

Visa run to Singapore. Immigration is electronic or digitally handled. No need to physically see a Snarly immigration officer. No offense to officers.

Only Certain Countries Allowed. USA is ok.

I assume you are talking about Singapore and not Bangkok.

The electronic passport reader is for leaving Singapore not arriving Immigration. And you still need an arrival card to enter Singapore.

Having Limited time is one issue in Bangkok as if you book thru any of the escorting sites or agencies they won't let the girl start until you show them that you are already in your room by showing the key card etc. Or they will call the landline and connect to you to confirm that you are in the room. Best bet is to join Thaifriendly and confirm with some one who can come to the airport to pick you and you can then go together to Airport, this is little tedious as you will have to keep chatting till you meet some one who is willing to but surely many would do it. Next option is to book a massage online with Similan, 66 leelathai, or similar for 2 hours and ask them to make sure the girl is at your hotel and confirmed time and you can prepay the massage cost, rest you can negotiate.
