I was chatting with a friend a few days ago who goes to Oskar on Soi 11 from time to time. Most of the FL's there quote ridiculous prices ranging, at least in his recent experience, from 7 to 8 k bt for long time and 5 k bt for short. A few nights ago, he did find an attractive FL to go with him for 5 k LT. A few nights later, he paid her 2 k bt for a replay. Of course, there is no BG but hardly a bargain.

He did ask her where else she might visit to find guys and her answer was nowhere but Oskar, which makes me think that these type of venues are few and far between. I did tell my friend to try Mynks but not sure if that is still a viable venue. Anyone know? With the possible exception of Levels (across the Soi from Oskar) and Sugar down the Soi a bit, there are not very many places for the hunt these days.

You will not easily find any FLs in the Thonglor / Ekkamai area, that's not what the area is for. It's a more upscale part of the city where the upper middle / upper class go to let their hair down with a party of friends. Any freelancers there will not be looking for a customer, and there is not one bar that's known for P4 P.

My point is, even if they were a freelancer, they're not going to admit it due to the stigma they'll invite upon themselves whilst with friends.

That's not to say there are no bars for P4 P in Thonglor. The area has a heavy Japanese presence and there are a few karaoke and snack bars with women, but they're more upscale than the ones on Thaniya. As such, you will have to be a regular with deep pockets to pull one of them from the bar for the night.

Your particular chances of finding Freelancers in Thong Lor or RCA are super slim to none. I'm sure some internet sex God is going to tell you that it happens, and even the Blind Pig finds an acorn, but don't head to those areas thinking you're going to walk away with a girl for a thousand baht.

I should've mentioned that the report think you referring to doesn't indicate that there is any nightclub like Insanity used to be. I have been to some of the night clubs that was mentioned in the report but none of them are close to Insanity.

Don't give up on TF after just one bad experience. I use it all the time, and yes it's time consuming, especially in BKK (in Pattaya it's easier), and most of the girls I meet are only average, but every now and then I hit the jackpot. And that makes it all worth it.

As always, very appreciative of the information here that was useful in my recent adventures in Thailand. A bit delayed, so some details are fuzzy, but wanted to offer a report of a late November / early December trip to Thailand. Overall I spent 4 days in Bangkok and, as usual, sampled a variety of activities. Organizing by type of establishment since I can't remember what I did when.

Massage Parlors.

I often suffer from decision paralysis when considering Bangkok massage shops. I also dislike wandering around to check out lineups. Should I choose the most popular, the most expensive? The quest to answer this question shall continue, but this time I made two visits to Hunny Bunny.

On my first visit I selected Love from the lineup mamasan sent me via Line. Booked 90 minutes and arrived to be greeted by a very small and very cute provider.

Our time in the room began slowly, but as she warmed to me during our shower, things loosened up. Started with the standard activities on the bed. Completed the first round before moving to the massive tub. While soaking together, I discovered that Love is a certified massage therapist and she offered to give me a Thai massage on the bed before round two. It was magical! None of the half-baked "massage" that you might be used to in between rounds. I wish I would have booked two hours with her so that the massage could have continued before pop number two.

Throughout the time, Love was sweet, genuine, and aimed to please. Would recommend.

A few days later, propelled by my enjoyable encounter with Love, I booked another 90 minutes. Love was not working so I chose a different provider whose name I can't recall, but this was a much less enjoyable time. Mechanical service, fake moans, etc. No need to delve into the nitty gritty since this is simply one of the risks of massage shops and especially of pre-booking online. See'est la vie.

Overall, I enjoyed Hunny Bunny. The location is convenient enough, the facilities were quite nice, and mamasan was helpful.

BJ Bars.

BJ bars have long been my favorite outlet in Bangkok. I like being able to walk in, sit down, do no work, and leave.

On this visit I made it to Wood Bar, Lolitas, Kasalong, 7-Heaven (twice), and Duangporn Haven.

No need to do a full report here since there's lot of info out there already and, frankly, what could be simpler than a BJ bar?

I will say, though, that 7-Heaven was awesome and I ended up going twice. I'm willing to pay a premium for a young, attractive girl and both that I met were very good at their work. One even offered me a second round, which I understand used to be SOP there, but I declined as I was spent. The mamasan was also willing to help me choose from the (digital) lineup so that I got what I wanted.

Fair warning: the girls in 7-Heaven seem to hang around right behind the wall in the rear of the reception and can hear your requests. This ended up working in my favor as one of the girls I selected mentioned it in the room and played up my request, much to my delight.

Fwifans.

For the first time after many visits to Bangkok, I have Fiwfans a shot when I found myself on the outskirts of the city for an appointment. Found a promising ad, booked, and showed up to the skeezy hotel at the appointed time.

The girl was not even close to the photos, but she was pleasant enough that I stuck around. I wouldn't repeat though. Mechanical service in a 1 star hotel room just doesn't do it for me when there are other amazing options available all over the city. Plus I just had this nagging worry the entire time about being the only apparent foreigner in the neighborhood and having walked into a skeezy motel. I'the rather not have Thai legal issues. Probably not a real worry, but I couldn't shake it and never worry about that in other Bangkok establishments.

Obviously YMMV, but I had been excited about using Fiwfans and now think it's maybe not worth the extra effort for short-time visitors.

Tinder and Thai Friendly.

My experience in Bangkok has been that freebies are difficult to find, unlike, say, the Philippines or other SEA locations and are a better bet for long-term residents with plenty of time for trial and error. I got lucky on this visit though!

Matched on Tinder with one slightly chubby mid-20's gal who spoke perfect English and just outright asked me if I wanted to smash before inviting me to her well-appointed apartment. Thinking I was going to get robbed or scammed, I left most valuables in the hotel safe and then threw caution to the wind and grabbed a taxi. 25 minutes later I was enjoying a beer that she offered me while her head bobbed in my lap before we went multiple rounds in the evening. Talk about good luck!

Second success was a mid-40's woman from TF who was nearly as forthright as the previous and offered to come to my hotel in the afternoon. Thinking again that this was a scam, I hid my valuables and welcomed her in upon arrival. I kept waiting for the scam to come, but I did instead. Turns out she was also a bikini competition model of some sort and had the body of someone twenty years younger. Much fun was had.

Had lots of other potentially fruitful conversations on TF, but there's only so much time in the day and I decided not to gamble my evenings on unsure things. Wish I had more time for that sort of exploration, though.

The moral here is that freebies are certainly available for short-term visitors, but you will need plenty of luck, lots of patience, and many failed conversations to get there.

Thanks for Senior's help on many information. I arrived BKK 30 minutes after midnight and immigration took 40 minutes. As others told I went all the way low level to exchange but found it was closed. Came back to arrival level and exchanged there. But later found near Phrom Phong station better price like 2. 5TH per 1 $. You get high rate for 100 or 50's though.

Day-1.

Started late after brunch and stop by Snow White. Already sorted out from website and went there and picked. Picked 24-year-old but I could say 27 or more but very good service and massage also good. Utilized whole hour. The next encounter is from TF. It is a time consuming but choose 21-year-old and she agreed for a quick video call. She is on time and waiting for me at lobby. I am happy to see (not much difference from her photos). Once inside a room took shower separately and started. Then she said very quick BJ only and no DFK. I was upset but continued anyway.
