I am coming to Thailand come hell or high water. LOL. But it won't be till the end of November. Can anybody tell me if yellow or red shirst are sort of taboo? I don't want to [CodeWord140] anyone off and find myself in a situation I don'are need. A Thai friend was teasing me about it, but I am not sure they were teasing.

By the way, I have a second floor room in the hotel so if any of the girls need a dry place I would like to help them out.

Thai girls are very clean and women of the Caribbean (I'm there alot) and especially Columbia are not that hygiene conscious though Jamaican girls (go figure) seem to be the exception in my experience - perhaps all the years of British influence. Seems feminine hygiene's not one of the things you think about a lot until its not there.

Everything is relative. My opinion is based upon mongering locals I've visited in the caribbean and south / central america. Expecting something similar, I was extremely disappointed in Bangkok. Unattractive, rude women were definitely a waste of my time.

Outside of Mongering, Bangkok is PHENOMENAL! Even with the floods, there is just so much to see and do. This place is a photographers paradise. I could spend months here seeing the sights.

Nobody really wants to give any statement whether it is safe to come to Bangkok right now, or not. Reason is that nobody has ever experienced such a flood, and that we don't want to participate in distributing panic messages or rumors.

PS: The water level expected for Chao Phraya river this weekend is 2. 6 m above normal. The flood walls height is 2. 5 m.

do you really like asian women? you've made a broad based conclusion from what appears to be a small sample.

based upon a review of your other posts, you obviously favor women with very large (some might say fat) butts. fine, to each his own, but while asian women in general tend to have smaller butts, some can be very shapely, and are in general among the most beautiful in the world, and this include a sizable number of thai women. now in bangkok the bars tend to be loaded with issan women from the northern part of the country (often with pug noses and dark skin) so its hardly representative of thai women or even all wg's. its true they comprise the backbone of the wg industrys for thailand but they are not the only ones, and i challange anyone that labels them all ugly. also apparently you hung out with alot of what 4 foot tall ones. note with thais themselves and japanese and some westerners. the focus is on lighter skin women, (often chinese / thai mixed) often in the spas or with the super long legged ones from the higher priced g clubs. now maybe yourself being black you sense a certain amunt of racism here, as apparently indians and arab men also do. so that's a real problem, but you should try to be a bit more balanced and not broadbrush the entire spectrum of women in bangkok.

My personal opinion:

I followed the news during the past few days very closely, I think I don't have to explain that, I need to do because of my business here (Livingstones Lodge, Soi 33).

Official statements:

- "Bangkok is safe". Now obviously not any more.

- "Don Muang is safe". And a day later it is flooded.

- etc. Etc.

I could add more examples, but that's basically how the information game works right now. The situation is most likely out of control. And nobody can really predict what happens next.

For that I would recommend NOT TO TRAVEL TO BANGKOK RIGHT NOW! .

We definitely encounter:

- a shortage of bottled water in the shops right now, you simply cannot buy water in 7/11 / any shops (there might be exceptions).

- tap water turning yellowish and smelling (not yet in the Sukhumvit area, but confirmed in many other areas of the city).

- an information deficit / disinformation that I have never experienced before.

Guy's. Just stay safe, stay away from Bangkok.
