I have an upcoming trip to Thailand early February but can only use the last day and night to have some fun. Can't check things out before because of work colleagues but my flight is 1 day later. I am looking for recommendations and feedback what to do. I am planning to go during the afternoon to a soapie or similar place, then have dinner and then plan to go out to have some drinks and fun bringing somebody back to the hotel. Because it's one day only I am willing to spend more for convenience, looks and good service but still within reasonable limits. I am a white a bit older guy.

My hotel is not too far from Nana plaza (google says 14 minutes walking to Billboard).

What place would you recommend for the afternoon for a first round? Saw recent recommendations like La Belle and then also the various soapies that were recommended.

I looked at evening options and can't decide between going to Pimp or Nana Plaza (Billboard, Butterflies, .). Just one final clarification before I let this encounter disappear into the archives: the 5 k baht was for ST + room + time overrun, in aggregate. I think it was a little on the pricey side but still fair. The 800 baht barfine was on top of all this, so the total cost came to basically 5.8 k baht, not including drinks.
