Trying to bump up this question as I am also interested in this response from local experts and people familiar with the BKK mongering scene. I RTFF the first 20-25 pages and couldn't find any recent information so appreciate guidance.

I am interested in high-end pick up clubs, and credible escort agencies (I saw mention of Absolute Angels, Bangkok Golden. Any others?

We agree. I too would like the answer and to find out about high end pick up clubs. Pimp, Sherberts, M club, Play, all fit that bill but don't have recent reports on them.

For those of you who know the history prior to COVID. The Spasso's bar in the basement of Hotel Hyatt Erawan use to turn into an exclusive pickup joint at 10 pm every night. Live band, beautiful Thai, EE women, booze set that place up like no other. It was a bit expensive relatively, 5-Star rates applied but I guess it wasn't too bad at all. One could see beauties dressed elegantly step in through the door one after another while families would slowly leave, knowing the place will soon morph this evening classic Italian restaurant into a late night Adult Hookup House. This use to be my best hunting ground for two reasons - 1) I thought I did not miss much stepping out of the Hotel, all the better girls (so I think) walked over to the Daddies, no effort needed 2) The convenience was second to none, I could pick someone up and run up the elevator straight to the room in a minute flat.

After COVID, they closed down the late night "Adult Hookup House", I suppose it is now a full-time family restaurant. Do any of you old timers here know a similar 5 Star Hotel Bar that might have a night gig like Spasso's still. I heard The Bamboo Bar located in The Mandarin Oriental hotel might be similar but I have not heard anything for sure. Are there others anyone would like to share?

This was an excellent post. Disappointed nobody answered as I think a lot of us would love the answer. If there is a similar bar to this where is it in BKK?

Gals don't want their identity known. Totally understandable to Photoshop. Usually the body is spot on though. Rest assured the majority looks better than what you see in Nana or Cowboy.

Do you happen to know if Sideline is managed by agents as well? Anyone using it? I tried to arrange something over LINE there but with my limited writing Thai and to be fair not contacting that many I failed. I got the impression some are independent in how they answered but not sure.

When I am back I will try again and update with my hopefully success haha.

It seems like the same thing for the most part, most of the agencies who are on Fwifans also crosspost to Sidelines.

I agree. Fiwfans is ideal for the local market; both in terms of price and discretion. As Goatscrot says it does require some effort to get the hang of using it, but it can indeed be worth that effort. The only drawback I have found is, like Werqweq says, the unreliability of the photos provided; Photoshpped, bait-and-switch, etc.

The other local market option is using the local Kapoo clubs. These are similarly priced for the locals and do not need as much online research. I live in the far suburbs on the outskirts of Bangkok where there are plenty of local options available, the majority of which are Farang friendly, with both the Kapoo clubs or Fiwfans.

Yes, there is usually a drop in the "cover" as the locals say. Of course part is to enhance the looks and part is to obscure the identity. On some of the agent telegram groups there are more accurate photos posted of faces.

I've had a few experiences where it was very obvious right when I walked in the room are very early in the session that the girl was not into it (perhaps really not being okay with foreigners) and it was not going to be good. I immediately contact the agent and depending on how far it went agreed to a small fee or nothing, and in the agent usually suggests another girl in the same hotel. I've never had an agent get agitated, rather always trying to work something out. Friend had a girl I just didn't want to do the second shot and the agent ended up refunding some money.

I think they're pretty much spot on for the local market. Soapies have turned into clip joints for East Asian tourists, and the prices in Go-Go's are absolutely outrageous considering the quality. Oilies are kind of comparable but overall I would say have less attractive women than what's available online.
The local punters want affordable and discreet as it's no longer acceptable to be seen going to a big soapy parlor with your workmates or friends like it was in the early '00s and before.

But let me also be honest: a girl that suggest you use transferwise to pay her is no newbie to this business.

Common knowledge certain people from certain parts of the world have to go that extra step to impress Bargirls.

Whereas a good Asian may be required to buy one drink. Bad Asians may be required to buy 5. It's real folks.

What will the agent do? I think I do a decent job of setting a good mood from the start (turning on the limited charm I have), so I have not really had any problems with service.

The problem has only been that some of the girls are too photoshopped in their pictures. Most of the girls I've seen have been from the same agent (I guess, assuming if it's the same hotel, it's also the same agent, though I could be wrong). Some have been head-turning pretty or cute, while others have been 2-3 years older, 5 kg heavier, and considerably less pretty than their photos.

I also think I've found the reason for some complaints I've seen here about the girl not being the girl from the photo, after it happened to me once or twice. In both those cases I went back and saw there is some text on the girls page about the photos being replicas (or something like that according to google's hopeless thai translations), and not the real photos.

You are right about the knowledge on Wise, generally. Apparently, she works in finance remittance and ForEx dealings. I know her pretty well after all the time together. Her Bank where she works was on the other side of the Hotel I stayed. She would stay with me at the Hotel for the entire time I was there, she would walk over to the other side to work and she would come back during lunch time sometime and back after work. All that said, she absolutely may have a past.

Thai general society consider white is symbol of wealth, good luck and status.

Even you are rich with brown skin, the girl might accept you, but society still doesn't see her as accomplished.

An Indian friend of mine married Thai girl, she is happy with him, but her family doesn't really accept him as her sister who married to Czech guy.

The goal is to look white, having white kids.

Thai people also Believe word of mouth that Brown skin people are stingy, and she will not be able to take care of her sick Buffalo and entire family.

Ideal candidate is mid 50's rich white men, who will take care of her with regular remittances, maybe open a business for her sister and brother. And built a home and she will be well taken care of, historically brown men are not known for doing that so that's why they trend to avoid.

Back in US a friend of mine married Thai girl (white guy), few years later she open massage shop and does provide home visits. He is very chilled, laid back and let her make money peacefully vs brown men will sure have problem with this.

In Thailand, my goal is quality P4 P and enjoy great food and beer.

I agree with all your observations, pretty succinct I must say. If I were to put myself into the shoes of that hypothetical brown guy, I think I would come out to be stingy also. I won't see the point of going that further into it. I also think if I was truly looking for a relationship I would not hesitate to go beyond the attributes of the hypothetical white guy here. In my case, ever since I met her I have made it abundantly clear that I am not here for a relationship but I like the prolonged GF experience.
