Not even sure why you quoted me cause where did I say Thai pronounce Thermae like thermos? I'm sure you speak Thai like I do and you know there is no "th" sound in the Thai language. A Thai would say it with a "t" (combined with 'd') sound like they do with Thailand (this is what I said). I was saying guys (Farang) pronounce it with a "th" sound same as you have confirmed.

Since you brought it up. This is from the Merriam Webster dictionary.

The first syllable is pronounced the same as thermos!
I only quoted you because your post was simply a generic, non committal comment about how you have heard it said and not a definitive correction of how it must be said. As was my response.

And my questions about which other words in Thai include a th as in Thermos sound was a genuine query of you or anyone else who might know, not a criticism of how you or anyone else says it. I apologize if it came across otherwise.

Thais don't normally pronounce the letter "R" they pronounce as "L" easiest example is Farang is pronounced as Falang and aroi (delicious) as aloi. Also no "V" in Thai alphabet so Villa Market is Willa Market. Also T and D is interchangeable in several words. Nitnoi Nidnoi same same. Chitlom Chidlom same same.

Sorry for cluttering up the forum with posts about language.

Baht or Bath? I have seen that word for Thai currency spelled both ways by Thai prople because whether it is spelled baht or bath in English Thai people say it the same way, as a sole T sound. Thailand? Thai? None that I can recall. It was predicted, I think accurately, that some new club called Myth would eventually be referred to by the girls as Mit or Mid, wasn't it?

I am not even sure the Th sound as in Thermos exists in the Thai language. I don't recall hearing it much at least.

I have only heard a couple of westerners referring to Thermae as one pronounces the Th in Thermos. And I think both of them also insist on calling PATtaYA as pTAIya with the accent on the second syllable. LOL.

    Thur-mee / Thuh-mee

Fun conversation to discuss LOL. Didn't even konw Thermae is a real word and apparently google proper pronunciation is Thur.-mee (american) thuh-mee (british), I always pronounced it Thur.-may. I guess would make sense to pronounce it the way Thais pronounce it if you're talking to them but among my fellow americans I'd still pronounce it my way even tho its off a little from googles proper way hah. How many of you guys actually knew its as real word?

    Missing important details

Also, he omitted important details, such as:

Did he just ask each "beautiful" girl in Thermae how much for Short Time?

He says they would not budge from that 5,000 baht quote. But did he first mention anything specific that he wanted in the session? DFK? BBBJ? BBFS+CIP? Anal? COF? Anything?

Did he accept the 5,000 baht quote from any of the "beautiful" girls he approached and take her to his room? If so, was he happy about or satisfied with the session he got?

Without that kind of info his assessment and even his statement about current pricing in Thermae is meaningless.

But I must say he or other guys who suggest Thermae (or other venue) girls who quote as much as 5,000 baht for Short Time are probably just telling the guy she doesn't want to go with him in a nice, polite and diplomatic way have met some very nice and polite girls in that place.

Really. How nice and polite of those "beautiful" girls to simply tell you an additional relatively insignificant amount of baht like 2,000 more than their going rate will get you the session you want with them. I mean, considering you'd be lucky to get a rewarding Short Time session you want with practically any go-go girl in town factoring in drinks and barfines for 5,000 baht. And would that go-go girl be as "beautiful" as the Thermae girls the guy in that video is talking about?

LOL. Should I crow about never having even one "beautiful" Thermae girl hit me with a 5,000 baht quote in order to agree to the kind of session I want? I wish it were that easy. Funny, I have yet to meet any Thai P4 P girl in Thermae or anywhere else who was too shy, too polite or too diplomatic with me to simply look me in the face and say No when she means No.

So then, do no throw away TF as option IMHO, just be prepared to spend time and pay attention, my tips: if the online pic looks to nice to be true maybe indeed it is not True + if only 1 pic, swipe. They can have 1 or 2 pics really attractive and when you see others, it is less the case.

    Take care and enjoy.
I am kind of curious how you arranged the threesome with the girl from TF and the husband as I don't think that type of thing is common in BKK unlike some Countries in say Europe! Did she advertise it or offer it, or did you ask or make suggestions looking for a threesome?
