Hi all,

I am going to be in Bangkok and Pattaya for a few days during new year. Want to make the most of this trip. Need suggestions and guidance about the best, classiest and memorable mongering experience money can buy. People, please, even if you pay over market (its your money), at least make sure you get something for it. Never ever pay in advance. Only girls that know they suck (not in the good way) demand payment in advance. Once you pay, all leverage is gone. IF she is reluctant, tell her she is free to go but doesn't get paid. Worst case give her 500 B to get her to leave (but I refuse to even do that).

You can find hoochie on Soi Nana all night. Beware Ladyboys. There are some fairly aggressive ones down there. If you had up towards Thermae which is close to where you're staying, you'll find I think higher quality street walkers.

In order to be treated as such you need to dress a bit better, make sure you smell good and talk more politely than the average tourist from India. Also don't hang out in a big group of other Indians. Actually the Thai girls are not racist per se as much as they want to maximize their chance of earning the most with as little work as possible. Indians are trained to bargain for everything while white people generally just pay up and Asians overpay. Thats the basic difference. I have seen Koreans offer 3 K or 4 K to street girls on Sukhumvit. Wouldn't you expect girls to flock to them? Even if only 25% of them do that, it sets up the reputation.

Interesting. Very truly and objectively said Nyezhov! That being said, I am an Indian myself (by color) and an American by nationality. I am probably on the top 5% earners or tax payers in the land of free. I think, I would appear as a rich Indian corporate dude just by the looks, but only after a conversation someone might know my western background. Why am I saying this here? - I totally endorse to what Nyezhov says here. If I were to go to a nightclub as an example in Bangkok, I will be profiled very quick by the Bar tenders as someone who will probably not want to spend money on drinks, and by the girls as someone who would be exactly what Nyezhov describes. As a result, I have hard time attracting a girl in a bar or a nightclub for a take-out. I am not sure how to play up on the profiling piece in Bangkok, it is going to be there for me to deal with, I have learned to play around it though, but it is a lot of extra effort for sure.

Contrary to all this, I find Germany (not FKKs, they are not my thing) to be much more equitable relatively. In fact, I have personally experienced favorable treatment there over the whites, somehow they tend to think Indians are richer, innovators and big spenders (go figure). I am talking about the Bars as an example inside of the hotel Roomers in Frankfurt or Berlin or even the Bar in ground floor of Hilton City Center (again, not FKKs). FKKs are assembly line manufacturing IMO. LOL.

The best way to avoid this problem is to keep your smart phone backed up. I don't know why Somewhere15 had a problem.

I've changed phones more times since getting Line than I care to remember and I've never lost anything during phone changes. I have iPhone, but I'm confident that Android has something equivalent. I do automated nightly backups via WiFi to iCloud and then about weekly I do a wired encrypted manual backup to my laptop using iTunes. Before I go to the phone store, the last thing I do is a manual backup to my laptop. When I get my new phone, I take it straight home and do a restore from my laptop. I can't remember every losing anything from any of my phone apps.

So, I got it back. But a bit too late.

Line replied to my email request that I was permenantly banned due to the soliciting. Yes, they have access to our conversations and some of them were kinky.

But, I wanted to try again, I got a pop up that read I need to wait for another 14 days before trying again. I tried after 14 days and it worked.

By then, I was not in BKK anymore and the good ones left or changed their IDs. But, I suspect some of them may return.

Racial profiling is going to be there all over the world according to how you look. There are bad apples who behave badly irrespective of how look and how people assume where the person is from. I believe problem in Thailand is lots of Indians go there because of proximity and cheap fares and cheap living and cheap pussy. India is conservative and with LE problems not easy to have fun.

I believe to have a good time ignore the racial profiling and do your own thing. Thailand caters to everyone irrespective of which country they come from. If you are ignored in one place there are others who welcome you.

Exactly. The girls have no idea of how it is in the usa. To them, if you look Indian, you are a poor bum on a boys cheap charter looking to share a coke. Meanwhile, they don't realize that you have just founded your fourth tech company here in the USA since here in the states if you are of Indian ancestry, that's what you do: you are a sucessful big earner.

All I can suggest for you is that in nightclubs make sure they somehow know you are an American. Don't quite have the strategy for that, I guess it would have to be an ad hoc thing. Thai folks don't differentiate in accents or mannerisms, you would be surprised how many times a day I'm asked where do you come from when I am so blatantly American to any Westerner that it's laughable. Then again, I can pick an American out of the crowd, no matter what his race or at the background is. I walked up toh a couple of Asian guys over in Nana one night and ask them what part of California they were from. They freaked out and said how do you know that we are American. I told him that now, your accents have confirmed it, but if I see tattooed up Asian dudes who are 6 ft tall and 220 lb, and wearing NFL jerseys, backwards ball caps and have mustaches, I can tell you that they're Hmong people so I was curious as to where in California. They said Stockton and we smoked a fat joint.

Recently I was treated like an Indian in Pattaya.

Contrary to what most of us thought was the case or hoped would be the case before we really got into the Thai P4 P scene, Thai prostitutes are not poor beggars so desperate for money they must do whatever a merciful paying customer wants and go with anyone willing to give them money.

They are not poor at all. Not the ones we are likely to meet in the tourist red light districts. Certainly not poor by Thai standards. Not even poor compared to poor people I have seen in poor areas of the USA. I doubt I have ever met one truly poor Thai prostitute in the 12 years I have lived in Thailand. And I have meet hundreds of them.

Inconvenienced by not having this or last month's rent? Or, rather, had it but spent it all on late night sumtam parties and drinks with their girlfriends? Yes. Poor? No.

Worried that they are late paying back extravagant gambling debts? Yes. Poor? No.

This would be especially true of Thai gogo bar girls. They are far more likely to be in it for the fun of hanging out with other Thai girls, to impress them with how good they are at the "sport" of hustling LDs from dumb men, to avoid the boredom of just sitting at home with grandma and the baby, to experience a new and interesting dick every now and then and for the booze than "for the money" exactly..

This needs to be stickied and referred to every time we see the does she love me posts.

That's the reverse power that Western expats have. We live there, we have all the time in the world to weed them out. Its a game to them, and should be to you.

May sound stupid but if you are going out to soak up the atmosphere (no pun intended) late at night to eye up the street freelancers etc, I strongly recommend go for an umbrella rather than rain jacket / hood. I talk from experience. I found during the heavy rains girls were a bit wary of me approaching them if I had a hood on. Changed the next night to an umbrella and then miraculously the girls would be coming up to you instead (which all part of the fun).

Even if you are only there for a day or two, most hotels will lend you an Umbrella also. The other reason (obviously depending) on time of year that I ditched the coat was it can get bloody hot and humid even very late at night. Blooming sweat was pouring off me haha!

Also in the heavy rain the number of FL's on the street will be way down, just head over to Thermae bar for a laugh. Hundred or more to choose from at any time!

Appreciate the advice but I have several umbrellas already plus I wear high priced rain gear so don't sweat or get wet. But thanks for trying to help me out as I approach probably my 20th rainy season in SE Asia.

If a girl is leery of my hood, I just plaster a thousand baht note to my face.
