I was there last spring I stayed in the Ruamchitt hotel above. There are a lot of young, attractive ladies there in the basement bar area some weren't very friendly. Mostly the older ladies were the friendliest. The bar require the men buy a drink upon entering; one of the ladies said they have to pay 50 baht to enter. Then there's women just outside-some attractive-that would hustle very aggressively for a date. I took a couple of the older ones from the bar to my room I think they charged like 1000-1500 baht or so. One night I stayed until 2 am closing it seemed most of the ladies left alone. The whole scene didn't make a lot of sense to me; what's the purpose of the ladies going there if they don't leave with a date? There's plenty of men walking around browsing. Seems like it would be a waste of time for the ladies to spend time there and then leave alone.

I am coming to Thailand for 45 days and I needed to see if someone was willing to connect and give me information about Bangkok specifically, and Thailand. I have read all the forums, websites, and even some old friends. However I was wondering if someone has been recently or lives there that can advise. Looking for information on.

1. Holiday GF. I looked at other options and think this might be my best bet. Given I want to travel and enjoy someones company.

2. Hotels no more than $100 total price. I like to find best bang for your buck. Something comfortable, spacious, king bed. Cheaper is better!

3. A full breakdown of these spots and more if available (massage, gogo, strip clubs, BJ bars, regular bars, thermae, nana, soi cowboy, sukhumvit, any others?

4. Any places you might recommend to visit?

5. Anything else you can add please do.

My goal: Find a chick or multiple different in different areas to connect with. Travel thailand, explore and have fun with said many women. I want to checkout chiang mai, phuket and krabi island and beach vibes, Bangkok. I don't have any appetite for Pattaya. Seems more like a monger scene with not much else. This is Thailand and there will always be things going on that mystify non-Thais. That said, whenever I am somewhere and the local providers are not even demonstrating the smallest of interest, it may be because I don't fit the profile. I have heart that Thermae is more a Japanese hunting ground these days and so at least some of the young girls will be hoping for the one big spender Japanese guy who will pay twice or three times what a falang will pay. Just a thought. You can find better hunting elsewhere. . . . .

Yes, news reports in Bangkok Post and other media sources confirm that Smooci, at least for the time being, has been drummed out of business. It's unclear if this is due to not paying tea money or due to some other factors. I used it a few times when I did not feel like going out and dealing with the bars, bar fine, bad weather, etc. So it's a pity that they are no longer in business.

Oh I wasn't sure if Lumpini Park FL was still a thing. My friends Thai GF told us about it so we went to check out it around 10 pm but maybe was in the wrong area and didn't see anyone. Sounds like I probably wouldn't pick anyone up since I do frequent Thermae but guess I'll check it out again my next try just to browse.

ET, comparing BKK girls to those things you see on Beach Road in Pattaya imo gives the wrong impression of what Pattaya has to offer. Those are bottom of the barrel in Pattaya. They're like the hookers that work Lumpini Park. They're for cheap guys who don't care more than the girl has a hole or 3. Everyone knows if a Farang wants half decent girls in Pattaya you have to go inside the top gogo bars. Don't judge by YouTube videos on what you see outside. Otherwise they need to be persistent like me and keep going to real G clubs on a weekly basis. Soi 6 is a crap shoot too again suited for guys on a budget but if you go 7 days in a row when the soi isn't busy you will find a girl.

BB, my assessment and original comment was that the Bangkok street girl in question would do well on Beach Road and Soi 6 in Pattaya because her looks were at least above average for those particular locations. Which I think you essentially just agreed with me about, although you only cited Beach Road and not Soi 6. It was another poster who incorrectly concluded that I was suggesting that she "is what you get in Pattaya. " But that isn't what I said.

I concede that there are many girls in better shape and with cuter faces on Soi 6 in Pattaya. But not a majority of them by a long shot. I agree with Horse Trader that her legs look better and she looks better in person than in that one brief video clip of her just standing in an unflattering position.

I would also submit that an "average" Thai girl of "average" weight, height and looks would rank among the top 25% of the girls one finds on Soi 6 in Pattaya. So if she is "average" by your or my judgement, well. I stand by what I said about her regarding Soi 6.

And, sure, same as Raj Patela, I too even saw occasional clusters of surprisingly attractive freelancers standing on Beach Road in Pattaya last month.
