I did read it somewhere in one of the threads of Bangkok about a bar where you can pickup girls without risking getting a LB. Apparently this bar is located in Shukumvit road somewhere near Terminal 21 and the entrance is a bit hidden under another hotel entrance. Outside lots of LB standing but inside there are part-time WGs whom one can negotiate prices with.

I've said that on countless occasions. I would have no problem paying Ferrari prices for a Ferrari, but not for a sporty looking car with a Volkswagon engine under the hood.

My best experience this month was a Camry in the Nana bar, a Corvette the first night together, and a Ferrari the 2nd night together. The lady drink convinced me that our personalities would mesh nicely. I was more than happy to pay the 2000 baht per night plus a tip, which I felt was Corolla pricing.

What the cost is in your home country has no real bearing on the cost in Thailand. For example, when you come to Thailand will you pay 300 Baht for a plate of pad thai on the street? Probably not. You will pay what the local going rate is. And my suspicion is that the local rate is less than you would pay in your home country. 10 K Baht for a night's work in Thailand is not cheap. It is an extraordinary wage. Most Thais I know with MBAs and ten plus years of experience don't make that kind of wage. Far from it. So really what you pay at home has no relevance what so ever.

Interesting debate. You hit the whole psychological nerve of why people pay more and others pay less. Why do people pay a lot for a real Rolex when a fake one will tell them the exact same time? Why do people drive a BMW when a Hyundai will get them to where they are going? Why do people chase stunners when average girls will still help you shoot your load?

If we look like Ryan Gosling and had a lot of money then stunners would cost us very little. We pay what we can afford and what we think the girls are worth. Sometimes we hit real gold and sometimes fools gold. It is that simple.

There is one factor that does not fit your analogy re P4P girls in Thailand; the assumed real Rolex will likely lose 15 seconds per minute while the nearly identical looking one is accurate to the second. The BMW will likely be stone cold out of gas while the Hyundai is topped up and ready to roll. The stunners have learned most guys will pay their asking price even if they never engage in what I would consider real sex.

I don't think any of us on the side of the debate that expects top quality service to be combined with top quality looks if we're going to pay top Rolex and BMW money for it would balk at the bill if that combination was delivered. But to only define a Rolex and a BMW by how it looks and how much it costs regardless whether it can even come close to telling accurate time or take you from point A to point B without getting out to push leads to a very bad deal IMO.

Moreover, the "beauty" level of the girls apparently at question does not appear to me by their pics to be any different than what can be had out there for significantly less than the money stated and for that money will deliver at least what I'm betting they routinely give their most favorite regular customers if not more.

I would suggest you to try levels lounge or insanity, both are nearby. Good clubs and nice music, insanity goes on till 4 am. Another option is Spasso in grand Hyatt Erawan, girls dress up in little sophisticated but music sucks and its bit suitable for mid age person. Mixx is also nice but they usually doesn't allow Indian and Arabic people, there preferred client tally is whites.

If you have two equally pretty girls (objectively considered), one dark and one light, then most asians will find the light skinned girl more attractive but primarily because she has a light skin.
