I am planning for a short trip to Bkk on May. I am a frequent traveler. I had good experience starting from Darling massage, Freelancer at Ambassador hotel.

I need to know, how's the situation now. And what are the good Spa s with cute girls at reasonable rate?

Just out of curiosity, are the freelancers that hang out around the Nana sign "safe" and does anyone have notable experiences? Appear to be some pretty ones but are they any different than freelancers at clubs / bars in terms of riskiness? I would think that they could make more money at Thermae so wondering why some freelancers would choose a much more public venue.

Never had an issue with a Nana parking lot or Nana area girl. Biggest issue for me is quite a few have had babies, with all the markings once you get them undressed. I ask the girls point blank. If they have a baby and they don't have an obvious paunch, I ask if their body is still good. If they say okay (one girl insisted she was "still good" and hiked up her shirt to show her belly), then I make a call whether I want to go ahead. I had to look up dictionary. Is "Gek" slang for Crazy (originating from Dutch)? The pics are a bit blurred for me to recognise her. It's not Joom by any chance? (I have not seen Joom naked only talked to her since she is there every day literally - she was a little too thick for me in the waist). Face and tits looks sort of consistent.

I saw a pic of a strong good looking Thai guy on one girl's phone. I thought was the girl's husband or BF. She explained was her son aged 16 or so but looking a bit older. LOL She had the baby quite young and now mid 30s. LOL

These are the notable risks I have experienced:

Watch out for high numbers of ladyboys. The real girls probably have natural tits.

The price is low so means the girl is expecting a quick session not going the full hour. Getting a GFE is not easy if first time taking that girl.

The girl may have significant body problems covered up by the clothes. Badly sunken saggy tits is most common, and baby Caesarian scars or bad belly stretch marks.

The deaf girls there communicate basics by typing on the phone screen.

Competition is tough at Thermae so girls may consider it is too difficult to get a customer there especially if they are not type likely to appeal to Japanese. For western guys, I don't see that Thermae is much lower risk of getting less than great session, but price is higher. So tend to prefer to go the cheaper Soi 4 street option, which does have the odd girl of reasonable natural looks especially at 1 AM. If the girl is not great, can go back and get another one.

The girls outside of Nana love to have repeat customers. Rumours may spread that you are a good customer or a bad customer very quickly among the girls. Does not guarantee the next girl will perform any good though. Some of them are really crap. It's a gamble.

I have not been robbed nor caught an STD. I worried about STDs, use a condom is obvious. I choose where I take the girl usually. The real girls are mostly trustworthy, since they work the same place repeatedly, but no guaranties are possible.

Materially more likely to have an STD or rob you, when compared to freelancers at Thermae or an after-hours club. Understand that the risks are inherent with anyone but obviously some more than others.

Climax was even worse than the gogos last time I was there. It's no laughing matter as the stench and health risks of passive smoking stop me going to these places. Ninja feels the same way so I hope you don't smoke with her in the room.

I hate that stench of smoke when I get home, not only on the clothes but even sticking to the hands and arms. I'm sure I'm not the only one who stays away from bars because of this. Is it true that Baccara is no smoking downstairs but smoking upstairs?

With you 100%. I avoid places that allow smoking inside as well. It irritates my sinuses to no end. Of course no venue is supposed to allow it but TIT.

My Thailand travel.

I had scheduled a ski trip with some buddies it was supposed to be a 10 day trip. I haven't gone with them in 2 seasons and I was overdue for a break from the wife. She goes on girl trips herself so it was normal for us. I got thinking and scheduled a trip to Thailand instead but told the wife I was going skiing. I had reserved 4 nights in Bangkok and 3 nights in Pattaya. The flight was awesome but long and transfers and customs was great but I also read up on it. I was really feeling the jet lag especially after staying up all night when I first got there, Wow this place is great. I visited Thermae bar the 2 nights I was there. I walked around a lot and explored the crazy busy city.

So the hard part was when I would chat and text with the wife and the juggling of the time zones the one in Bangkok the one in Eastern coast US and where I was supposed to be in Pacific coast. Well my conscience got the best of me and I bought a one way to catch up with my buddies and make it good. It cost me a lot of $ but I am glad I got the chance to see the city. It was a stressful but enlightening adventure I will be back on better terms some day.
