Most gogo bars have music too loud. I don't know where to recommend with quiet quality music. There are some DJs I like, but always loud.

For freelancers can peruse the Thermae, but quality service for western guys is not easy to come by. A good number of the girls don't want to kiss. Maybe my selections were unlucky. I never drink alcohol before sex (almost never). I may drink afterwards. It's not an issue at all. Bars serve Coke, Coke Light, Zero, Sprite, Orange juice, Pineapple juice, Soda water (known as Soda in Thailand), Tonic (water), plain water, maybe even tomato juice, etc. Soda is best for me, as no sugar, and I drink it slower.
