What experience do you have in Bangkok on Songkran? Does Songkran affect the sex business and how?

I will be in BKK next week. Its Songkran water festival and I remember from a few years ago that a lot of business are close and many of working ladies go back home to villages. Can anyone provides thoughts on the scene in BKK for mongering.
