Why is that? I prefer them to be at least a bit drunk. They are more willing to do whatever I like when that's the case.

Yes a few leg opener drinks is very good for shy girls, but you have to be very careful to find out the girl's limit before she becomes sick, comatose, useless, etc. If she cannot stand, or walk, then she is too drunk. Some girls are at their best with 2 to 4 tequilas. Others are best when sober.

I take girls slightly inebriated, even to 8 tequilas if girl is experienced drinker and can hold it, but not to stage that I would call "drunk". If girl's speech becomes to slurred or makes no sense any more, I prefer to give her a miss.

I can certainly identify with the problem of going into several places and finding nothing much, on occasions.

The Hotel with coffee shop attached near mouth of Soi 11 should be Grand Business Inn, as I think can eat there 24 hours, and I have. A budget Hotel (around 1300 Baht most likely) reasonable value, but has no pool and beds were a bit too hard for me, when I tried it years ago. Would not recommend ordering Farang food there. I recall a salad swimming in a lake of Mayo served to me and I don't even like Mayo. LOL So they have limited understanding of western food. I don't recall if their burgers were any good.

Oh wait, Friday night I went back to Soi 4 and it was action packed. Had a beer in every bar along the left side of Soi 4. Unfortunately, I was too late and any of the stunners were already gone. I then headed over to Climax and it was jammed as usual. I have a few usual girls I can always find in their if I want but last night they were already gone with customers. An interesting thing happened on the way out though. I was almost at the top of the Soi on Sukhumvit when I glanced behind me and saw a very hot girl but she was drunk and almost falling down. The hamburger at that Hooters is the best burger I have ever had in all of Asia.

Some absolutely amazing burgers in BKK now. If you think Hooters is good you need to get to Daniel Thaiger, not the one on soi 11 which is over-priced, but the food truck that is parked on soi 30/1. Also Fattys Bar and Diner on Din Daeng Rd and Arno's Burgers and Beers on Narathiwat. Guarantee you will like all three more than Hooters. And all at a far better price.

I am sorry if my sarcasm was misconstrued. I was just joking around comparing the size of hooters waitresses ta ta's across international boundaries assuming the American Hooter girls would win that contest by a long shot. I never thought Hooter's waitresses in either country were easy on the job, let alone prostitutes.

I have never been to Hooters USA because I just assumed the food was kind of ordinary, not that good and the marketing concept seemed a llttle silly and adolescent to me. I have never been to a Hard Rock Cafe for a similar reason. In my home town and in the same category of sit down, tavern type restaurants, there is the Ale House (very good inexpensive food), Duffy's Sports Grill (not bad either), and Brezzi (serving their own in-house beers). And then going more upscale and more expensive, there is J. Alexanders and Houstons. The best burger in my town is at the Capital Grill. So there has always been plenty of restaurants to choose from serving pretty much the same type of food at various price points. I just wish there was a decent Thai or Peruvian restaurant within 15 miles.

In BKK I always knew that the Hooter girl's were not available for take out. That fact and my preference to eat the local Thai cuisine all the time is the reason why I never checked out any Hooters restaurant in Thailand. I would rather get a drink across the street at Morning Night Bar or Hillarys where there is always the off chance of spotting a girl I like and being able to do something about it. It surprises me a liitle that you really like the Hooter's burgers there, but that's cool. One day I may give the Soi 4 place a try.

P.S. There was a Hooters in Makati, but that place did not last long.
