I am asking for a friend in Philippines who has a friend with major GI issues the past 5 years. She has been to many PH doctors and hospitals and have many diagnoses and still sick. He is wondering if doctors or a medical clinic or hospital in Bangkok would be much better? And if so, which ones? Also I heard BKK medical costs are cheaper than western countries but how much cheaper?

There are several services, you should check the Pattaya forum because that's where I think it would be more useful. Its not that far from the airport to BKK, especially late night.

Thread intended for general information only, not detailed reports. If I wasn't so lazy, I'd start such a thread myself. Any ambitious vets that would be willing to start such thread? Would need to write a decent first report with some basics, others could add to it later. It could reduce clutter in our more popular "advanced" threads.

I am pretty sure there is not such a service anymore (after the pandemic) as I looked into this recently enough myself. There used to be such a service from a place called Devil's den it was quite famous but it closed down during Covid. No-one has re-opened such a service I guess because of cost and probably lack of popularity. Also the authorities / airport may not have liked it?

Agreed. Same factors apply as anywhere else though Thai girls are much easier to charm than in most of the world. If you can speak at least basic Thai, most of the race concerns go away. And if you are relatively young (under 40), it is very possible to hook-up. You just need to make an effort. Girls here are like most Asian girls, shy. Speaking Thai breaks the ice quite well. Just turn up the charm a bit and you will at least have some success. Though don't expect to hook-up with 90% of the girls you talk to, it's more like 10% here for hot girls whereas in the west it might be 1%. Still 10 x better is much improved odds.

In preparation to my next trip to BKK I have been messaging some MPs asking details on the services. A couple of them which gave more infos specified that BJs are performed with (CBJ). This statenent that left me very surprised! Usually in Asia I rarely found CBJ services.
