Good to hear about your positive experience with the tourist police. I have a question though. I read either in a post here or maybe elsewhere that the tourist police either consisted of foreigners, or at least had a substantial number of them. This surprised me, and I'm skeptical that the Thai government would allow foreigners to serve in this capacity. Were the tourist police you dealt with Thais, foreigners, or both? And more generally, does anyone here know whether as a general matter the tourist police consist of Thais and / or foreigners?

Everyone was thai and they just about scraped enough English together to write the report. But this was in rural nakhon sawan.

Arrived about 2 weeks ago. Stayed for 10 days. I will try to give you my impression of what I saw and did in those days. I arrived and was quickly at the departure level. Taxi guy was offered 300 be and it was accepted. Off to Suklhumvet and my soi. It was 1:30 am so I thought I would check out the local discos. Bangkok Beat had a nice crowd with some decent material and live band. Moved on to Climax and it was crowded. Not really my style so after one drink I left. Found a massage place off soi 11 and the back pressure and tight mussels were taken care of nicely. After 27 hours it was now time to rest as tomorrow I would need to start checking out.

Great. But as far as I know all these apps (wechat, tango, skout, etc.) are real time and can only deal with these in finding people nearby when we are in Thailand.

How can we use them when we are still in our native land? Can you pass on which apps you used which we can use to start working on them before we land there?

Tango has this feature to search in different countries as well as the mobile version of Tagged. Skout has this feature as a free trial, and we chat has this feature if you shake your phone and a Thai person is shaking as well. For guys outside Thailand use Tango. For guys outside Thailand the actual idea is to get the ladies talking on a familiar platform that they use everyday. Web sites like Thai friendly and date in Asia only work when the ladies are online. Make first contact with them there. Then your only goal should be to get their Line I'd. Once you get that you will have instance access to them. Thai ladies live and die by this app. Now you can chat with them in real time for free and build that much needed rapport that we both have talked about on this forum. No sex talk or asking for naked photos in the beginning.

Today I was sitting in my usual coffee and cake shop in BKK. After a while a young pretty lady from Chiang rai did sit down at my table. She did tell me she did loose her job 2 months ago and will start working in that coffee shop next month. I did offer her a cake and we talked some time. After a while she did go inside again.

Some of her future co workers were eating inside and she did join them. They did invite me to join. She was a bit tipsy and she did touch me several times in the right spot. We did exchange phone numbers and agreed to meet again. During the evening we did exchange some SMS. One of them she told she wants to eat me LOL.

Could be a gold digger but leaving on Tuesday afternoon I still want to try to meet her again for some fun. If she agrees I will post her pictures and phone number by personal message if it appears that she is only looking for customers.

These days 1000 baht for st from a decent looking freelancer is below market price. I am surprised she didn't raise more of a fuss. You can get away with that from some of the raggedy street girls but almost every respectable freelancer who is working in a club or a disco is asking for 2000-3000 for short time. Perhaps you can bargain them down but not often. It wasn't all that long ago when the standard price was 1500 but over the past year or two FL prices have taken a gigantic increase. Why they would expect you to pay more for them than a gogo girl is beyond me but obviously lots of guys are doing so.

I know you are a polite man -so ill say it. I'm no politically korrect.

What happened was the girl was in high probability a raggedly type girl- therefore tried to get an overpayment but grudgingly accepted what she probably would have accepted if negotiations took place at the beginning.

P.S. Note about Rainbow 2. Ther e are at least 3 flat-chested girls who get barfined regularly and one on them has to be the number 1 barfined. Not in my wildest dreams would I have thought flat girls making so much money.

Could not agree with you more. I make the rounds in the Plaza from time to time when friends visit and it is usually awful. I can't think of a bar in there that I would recommend to any one. Erotica is dregs and lady boys. Chillies downstairs is freaks and lady boys. BillBoard has lost almost all their cute Jacuzzi girls and the ones on stage are tattoed silicone moms. The two Mandarin bars (the one above Mandarin is also Mandarin) are now chock full of Coyotes. Same goes for what used to be Fantasia but is now CandyLand 2.

Candyland 2 was previously called Hot Lips, and may have been called Fantasia before that. Its not a Coyote bar. Its not naked, but many girls are topless. I know a hot girl who works there and another who used to work there. I don't specially go for the bar, but its only special girls that I like to visit occasionally. I did not notice any Coyote stuff according to what I expect Coyote to be. So I think that is unfare assessment, perhaps very out-dated.

Haven't you ever been to Thailand? Foreign tourist police volunteers are everywhere. They are, of course, not police and have no powers whatsoever except to be personally known by real police. Sometime police uses them as decoys or when they don't want to show up personally for whatever reason. One of the most pitiful roles I have seen them do is to proxy cops to issue traffic tickets in Pattaya. They are mostly a walking joke.

I've been to Thailand around 30 times, on average for at least a couple of weeks per visit, and have spent more than 90 percent of my time there in Bangkok. I guess I just haven't noticed them as such in the hustle and bustle of that city. If they wear some sort of uniform, perhaps after glancing at them I might have thought they were flight crews, foreign military on R&R or something like that.

Both in phils and thailand I donate 3 k for LT play (FL or not), been donating same price since 2007. I never do discuss price upfront and if a girl state a price I ditch her, next one please. Reason for doing so are that girls will perform on the high side when they don't know how much (if any) I will give them. I invest some time in building chemistry with her and if she is part of a group I always treat all the girls here nice and buy a lot of drinks etc (to her and friends). That makes the girl feel good about herself and she gets good karma from her group. Just get them to actually like you by having fun, drink and party. You get good performance in return.
