Correct, there are several soapies in and around similar locations. Huay Khwang has Nataree, Hi-Class, Caesar's, Emanuelle (I think Amsterdam and Poseidon aren't too far away). Rama 9 (I have noticed on the way to the airport) has Colonze and Catherin'es (I think, still haven't checked them out). Then there is La Belle (a pink building) just outside of a BTS station (the name slips my mind). Also, if I am not wrong even Annie's is a soapy (but recent reports aren't favourable). Again, for the OP, it is highly recommended that you read the report from Scorcher75 / Shocker (link in the ROD section) who went to several high end soapies and made a good report.

A soapy crawl is an interesting idea LOL, but I am not sure, if the papasans will be too happy for clients to lounge about and have a drink or two. On a busy day in Nataree, the papasan is busy tending to other customers and will not hassle you unless you get up and walk around to check out the sideliners. But on a slow day, he is going to (at least appears to) breathe down your neck to chose and make it quick. November 5 (Day 5: Wednesday)

I got up at 9. 00 am. Had quick breakfast at the club. Had to reach airport by 11.30 am for my flight to Singapore and another 4 nights of fun. .had pre booked the same camry cab back to airport. Nana: Hot Lips / Angelwitch gogo bars

I started walking towards Nana plaza around 10.00 pm. Streets had come to life. Lot of FLs hanging around not to mention the black guys as well outside the hotel. I walked towards Nana. This would be my first visit to a gogo bar. I continued but then decided that I should walk out the scene around this area as well. So instead I walked towards Grace hotel on right. Had read about it and seen on youtube. I reached there and was immediately caught hold of by a lady in middle eastern dress. Asking me whether I wanted to boom boom. I politely refused and continue to walk through. The quality here was really bad. Big and ugly women. Don't know who would want to get in on with them. Anyways I should not be judgemental. People have varied tastes and hence these women are there on the street I guess. Am sure they must be rocking someones boat. Am not to return this side again.

I crossed over the road into Nana plaza and continued my walk to scope out the street. Saw the entrance to NEP. Lot of people walking in. Place seemed to be live with loud music playing from different bars. I continue on. Spot Rajah Hotel on the right. Needed to check I think so I crossed the road and walked toward the hotel. As soon as I reached one guy approached me saying. Want Russians. I said to myself what was I thinking. I turned back and walked down the road away from NEP. Few massage parlours down the road. Few beer bars with pool tables and girls sitting lonely on chairs or with men staring on the road. What is the modus operandi of the girls who are alone. Do they approach you. Can we approach them. Are they for takeout or just to get you drinks at the place. Would request inputs for future visits.

I returned to NEP and stood outside having a smoke. Saw a LB swearing out loudly at some white guy on the street and the guy was just walking away to avoid a scene. I paused for a few minutes. Took a look at the women standing at the gate of Nana hotel. None seemed to interest me. Quantity was also very low approx. 8 to 10 of them. Maybe it was quite early in the night for them. I got into Nep. Walked upstairs on the right saw Mandarin. Women calling me in. Didn't want to get in. Walked on the first floor and completed the entire floor. Lot of LBs standing in the passage. Moved swiftly so as to not engage them or antagonize them. Got myself on the second floor. Not much of interest there. Returned to the first floor. Walked back towards Mandarin thinking will go in there. Passed Rainbow 4. Guys at the gate gave me strange looks. Wasn't on my plan to get in there anyways so I got into Hot Lips. Mistake .5/6 girls on stage in white bikinis. Topless. Mamasan caught hold of me and got me seated. I ordered for beer. She was back with 2 beers in a jiffy. I sipped. Nothing of interest but now I had to finish two beers. Got mamasan to call a lady for me. No 17. I noticed that she had bristles once she was seated next to me. I wondered whether she will be able to do a BJ properly without hurting anyones tool. DFK was definitely out of the question. Decided to enjoy. Mamas an had one drink and got girl another one. Girl spoke little English so stared at the girls who had gone wild and removed their bikins while giving lap dance to the guys there were with. Lot of cheering in the bar. In the meantime another girl. No 18 made herself comfortable to my right. I had not invited her. It seems that they had surely got a whiff that I was a newbie. Drinks for her as well. Mama got another drink. I had to call it off now as I was not really enjoying so I finished my beer told mamasan that I was leaving. She got me bill. Paid 1100 baht with tip. These drinks do start to add up very fast.

I walked over to Angelwitch. Liked the first impression. Rock music was playing and girls were dressed in yellow and black dress. Mamasan got me a seat. Approx. 20+ girls on stage. Ambience was for my taste. Suddenly all girls came down and the show started. The lead girl was good. Had silicones but a great body. Nice face and sexysmile. Was thinking about bar fining her but her show was on and I had to wait .2/3 acts later I called mamasan and asked her to call the girl to sit with me. Unfortunately she was already taken by some guy and she went on to sit with him once the acts were done. I paid the bill. 650 baht. Decided to get myself into a FL bar. It was to be Thermae or Insanity as both were the closest to my Hotel. Insanity it would be.it was 1 pm now and I wanted to get there in time to pick someone up. I decided to walk the distance.

I reached. Paid the 200 baht entry fee .20 baht in the tip box on request from the sweet counter girl. Got in. Place was as big as Shock but had a small dance area in the center compared to the dance stage in shock. Two small podiums (drums) were kept at each corner on left near the bar area with one girl dancing on each. Got myself a JD cola from the bar and took a table. Place was almost empty. Had to be. It was a Monday. How could I forget that. Took a walk across the place. Not much available. Few options but not worth considering. Got myself back and nursed my drink. In the meantime the girls dancing on the drums were swapping each other in 7/10 minute interval. I was sitting close to one of these podium. As soon as the girl stepped down she smiled at me and came to me. She was stinking of beer and tequila. Asked me directly if I could buy her a drink. I was taken aback to which she though that I didn't understand so she hand signaled me for a drink. I refused. She walked away. I was scouting around for company but none to be found. Thought of going to Thermae but then decided to stay back as it was already 1. 45 pm. The girls have swapped again and the one dancing has now come down and walked straight to me. She asked me how I was, etc. I was sitting on a stool with my legs open. She positioned her butt exactly between my legs and started grinding me with a naughty smile. I enjoyed. She asked me if I wanted to dance and I politely refused. She hung out for few minutes then asked me if I could buy her a shot of tequila. I thought what the hell let me buy. Suddenly another girl came from back and put her arms around me. She also started dancing besides me. The earlier one said that it was her friend and requested if I could buy her a drink as well. I was really irritated by that time and wanted to get it over with so I said yes. The earlier one remained close to me while her friend went to the bar and came back with 4 tequila shots and handed me a bill of 800 baht. Wait I thought I wanted to buy them a drink each. But they had taken the liberty to order as they wanted. I didn't want to cause any nuisance so I paid. Both girls downed the shots faster than I could see. The earlier girl now excused herself to the toilet. Her friend hung on to me. She started usual pleasantries and suddenly waved at the girl walking with Absolut shots. The girl came over and she wanted me to buy some shots for her. I had enough and said I don't want to. She also excused herself to the toilet. I was thankful and decided to go back to the hotel. I walked out crossed the FOB and got down in front of Thermae thinking whether I should go in or not. Lot of LBs were standing. I decided to just get back to the hotel and rest. I will return to Insantiy during a better day of the week in my next trip.

Till this time I was confident that I will manage to avoid any cons or free drinks but these girls had really pulled a fast one on me. Advice to other newbie mongers like me coming to Bangkok. Beware.

November 1 (Day 1: Saturday)
This eventually turned out to be the best session of my trip and I will return to Spasso on my next trip. I did have the price range of 2 k to 3 k baht in my mind to pay but didn't just have the energy to negotiate or look further from Spasso considering the tiring day I had.

Refreshing to read a review that goes into so much detail in the FL Club Scene. Ditto! Must try Spasso in a couple weeks time.
