Being from Europe, I cannot comment on US prices, but let's have a look at prices in Europe.

I live in Belgium and let's say I take a sex holiday in Germany, driving in my car to the various FKKs, party- and swingerclubs. Hotel costs: at least 100 EUR / night (and that buys me just regular rooms in small hotels outside of the big cities. Now let's look at the prices for the fun part.

I think your friend is getting a good deal. Of course he lives there and the place I went to was just off Union Square. The $260 broke down with the ladies getting $200 and the MP $60 for the hour. Still, I look forward to my next trip to Bangkok like a child anticipating Christmas. In my opinion Bangkok is a monger's paradise and offers so many opportunities for great sex with great girls at very reasonable prices. Ask a Thai earning 10,000 baht a month or a Cambodian earning 6000 baht a month if $40 is small money by any standards. I think you are quite highly out of touch with the rest of the world.
