It seems you can get Ambien without prescription in Bangkok. Anyone can recommend a pharmacy for it? Generally speaking, can I just walk in any pharmacy as they are all legit, or is it important to get "one of the good ones" in Bangkok to avoid fakes? I have no experience with pharmacies here.

I've never found a chemist that will sell Ambien without a scrip here, and I have asked. Valium and Xanax, yes, but the first makes me feel like I've been smacked over the head with a frozen salmon, and the latter gives me wild dreams, which isn't too bad but it also has a reputation for causing psychosis. If anyone finds a shop in BKK that will sell Ambien or generic zolpidem please let us know!

I always use Ambien when I travel. Helps me sleep on the plane. But they are prescription.

Well the flight time is only an hour or so, but door-to-door would be half a day. Personally I prefer to sight-see by myself, so I certainly wouldn't fly a girl up there just for company. Much better to fly there, stay one night and fly back the next. You can find company either for ST or LT in Chiang Mai. It may be uncertain but no more so than taking a chance on a girl from BKK, which would be a very expensive option with flights.
