It is obvious you know very little about what actually goes on in Thailand beyond Soi Bright Lights, and are just a persistent troll.

I mean, we got guys here who say they never tip, or complain when other 'over-pay'. These same guys are the ones who want the best lookers, the best service and at the lowest prices. LOL.

Posts: 138If we're going to reference what upper class Thais spend at G-Clubs and soapies, it's only fair to compare them to what an upper class farang spends on women while visiting Thailand.
Would anyone care to claim it's less than 5000 in a night? I doubt it.

You are absolutely on the ball. The percentage of locals to farangs is overwhelming. And more often than not, whereas farang picks from fishbowl, most locals take the sideliners. Patpong, Nana and Soi Cowboy rely on farangs and overseas visitors but the rest of the p4p relies primarily on locals. It's not even close!

Posts: 127I'm checking out google maps for Khlong Toei, is it at all possible to just trawl the streets and get invited
Or would a farang not speaking thai just get robbed and left to go home empty handed?

You complain that the girls I was with are average and I spend too much but where are your pictures? We have not seen any yet? Now to the point in question. I frequent.
Nataree, a popular massage place. It is known for having young Thai girls with white skin. The girls start at 1800-2000 for one pop in the fish bowl and 2200-3600 for the sideline girls.
The majority of customers I see there are Thai. For every Farang there is 10 Thai customers. They are drinking and usually spending money like crazy on the sideline girls, the more expensive ones. The building beside the Nataree complex is a high end massage for Thai men. I frequently see expensive cars, men in suits entering and exiting. One day I popped in and was able to talk with the popa son. He said they normally don't let Farang in but they will make exceptions if they are dressed well. He commented most Farangs try to come in with shorts, t shirts, and sandals LOL. I think this holds true for most Thai places don't let foreigners in very often. A perfect example is our friend here Gentleboner. Always complaining about prices. Thais will spend a lot more for quality then most Farangs. What about the G clubs? Thais will spend 3-5000Baht just to sit and drink with a girl for the evening, and then maybe more to take her home after. Many members complain on here about prices, do you think the Thais have a forum like this? If they do do you think they complain about high prices? Of course not. If they see a girl they like then they pay whatever it takes. It is common sense. Whatever your budget is you go to a place that is within that budget. Why make yourself look cheap by going to a high end place and offering below the market price there? Gentleboner you can't go shopping at Central malls and expect to pay night market prices. * Just a note for admin. I posted this using the Google chrome browser. When posting the text does not wrap around like normal. Have the words appears on the upper line and the other half on the lower line. This could be the reason for the hard returns on some posts. Instead of pressing return I just pressed the space bar until the word moved to the next line, hope that helps!

actually i like the "bangkok shuffle" best since the girls are nude and allow you a good peek at them and you can call them over at any time. the girls in a choreographed show will not come to you until the show ends, so it is always a bit of a hit-and-miss thing to get her before another monger intercepts her.

my ex'es brother has taken me to places where we both got some for 300b from very attractive girls on many occasions. while i was still marrried to his sister! up in the tiny villages in the sticks of issaan you can still find these prices if you are connected to a local.

Posts: 540I'd be willing to bet the blue collar / lower class Thais alone spend more baht than the falangs. Some of those Thai long haul drivers get high on yaba not only to stay awake, but to have enough time to make a deposit at the brothel on route to their destination.
A far more compelling argument is what smells worse, a Thai construction worker who just worked a 10 hour shift, or an Indian man who just took a shower.

"Rather than add more numbers to these lists our research looked at the official Thai government estimates of the numbers of sex workers in Thailand. The Thai government largely bases its estimates on the number of Entertainment Place registrations and the number of sex workers visiting government STI clinics (Sexually Transmitted Infection) via records and mapping. We found that only about one third of our workplaces have ever been registered. We also found many of us are not part of the government health service register, as we choose to use private health clinics. So the official figures are likely to be lower than reality. Still government estimates of 200, 000 to 300, 000 19 feel a lot closer to our reality than the wild numbers put forward by some groups e. G. 800, 000 to 2. 6 million! [p. 10]
"Another measure of the size of our industry is the amount of revenue we generate. In 2003, the Thai sex industry was said to yield an annual income of US$4. 3 billion which is likely to have increased significantly over the last 8 years, as the Thai economy and tourism sector has developed. 20.
"Much of the tourism industry is dependent on the sex industry which has been estimated to make up around 7 percent of national GDP. More than rice exports. 21 [p. 10]
"As far back as 1998 it was estimated that sex workers in urban areas of Thailand sent close to USD300 million annually to our rural families, a sum that exceeded the budgets of government-funded development programs. 22 This amount will have also increased significantly over the last decade. Migrant sex workers are also sending huge amounts of money to their home communities. Migrant sex workers working on this research project all send between 15 to 26% of their monthly income home to their families. [p. 10-11]"

Compared to what? Maybe XXX thousand mongering foreigners, (farang, asian, black, middle eastern, indian), who come here for a week, or two, mainly in high season. Many of them are older and only "play" every other day, or so, if at all!
And, we all know that the foreign guys that live here are careful with their cheese!
